The Pirates continued their dominance over the Brewers by getting to Brandon Sproat in game one on Monday, scoring four runs off the young righty in what would be his last start in the major leagues before a demotion to AAA. Meanwhile, Bubba Chandler and the newly revamped Pirates bullpen were able to hold the Brewers to just three runs, and polish off a 4-3 Pirates win.

Logan Henderson shut down the Buccos offense to even the series on Tuesday, while Jackson Chourio began what would be a very productive week by recording 3 hits en route to a 4-2 Brewer win.

The Brewers doubled up on the 4-2 scoreline on Wednesday, this time with Kyle Harrison returning to the mound to outduel Paul Skenes. In fact, the only thing that could stop Harrison was cramping, as he exited the game early while warming up for the sixth inning, though he did so after striking out the final eight Pirates he faced.

Dustin May's Brewers debut went according to plan, as behind him the Brewers secured their third straight victory over the Pirates, using home runs from Jackson Chourio and Gary Sanchez to win the series finale 5-2.

The Twins came to town on Friday and were all over Shane Drohan, who quickly coughed up an early Brewers lead in opposition to Twins hurler Zebby Matthews. The large deficit would be too much to overcome, as the Brewers dropped the opener 8-6.

Another rough start from a Brewers starter followed on Saturday, but Robert Gasser was able to gut through 4.2 innings, only allowing 3 runs despite heavy traffic on the base paths. That set the stage for the offense to chip away while the Brewers bullpen shut down the Twins bats the rest of the way, with a go-ahead single off the bat of Andrew Vaughn in the 8th being the eventual difference maker in a 4-3 Brewers win.

MIL Starter: Jacob Misiorowski (6.0 IP, 4 H, BB, 3 ER, 9 K)

It was a wild one on Sunday, with a suddenly shorthanded position player group and taxed bullpen finding a way to beat the Twins in extra innings to take the series 4-3. That was all behind a start from Jacob Misiorowski, who struck out nine over his six innings, but a pair of homers from the Twins set the score at 3 by the time he exited. That set the stage for both bullpens navigating a plethora of baserunners in the late innings, but eventually a looping line drive from Jake Bauers sent the Brewer faithful home happy in the 10th.
