    Since I couldn't find a pic of Greg Brock that had his number in it, I went with the second best player to ever wear #9. Seriously though, I wore 9 in every sport I played my whole life thanks to Teddy Ballgame.

    If he gets to 4.5 WAR this season (likely) and say 5.5 WAR next season the contract will be paid for . With 6 years left for free. Seems good.

    I have no idea how the bullpen is going to shake out. The options they have are incredible. To wit: RHP Whatever starter isn't starting (Civale? Montas?) Bukauskas Herget Mears Megill Paredes Payamps Peguero Williams Wilson Misiorowski Yoho LHP: Ashby Hall Hudson Koenig Milner Zastryzny Ridiculous. That's 19 dudes. And I probably forgot a couple.

    Way after the fact, but I don't really feel like Friedman has done a particularly good job. Unlimited payroll and a pretty meh offense beyond the big four. Letting Seager go was really dumb.

    Wow. Agreed on Kiley. That ranking means a lot. Pretty excited to see what he can do next season and beyond. The measurables are impressive. Switch-hitting Chourio at shortstop sounds ok to me.

    I would call up Yoho today. Probably for Peguero. I'd probably call Misiorowski before then as well just to make him eligibile for post season.

    Turner missed weeks 6-11 so yeah I was off a little. 4 of their starters have made all of their starts. They've had incredible injury luck.
