Adam Dunn has 29 homeruns. Weeks who was hyped at one point as having more power than Fielder has 9. I'm not looking solely at batting average but Weeks has been overall a huge disappointment. There was no one more excited about him than I was after we drafted him but my gut feeling is he'll never become a complete player.

He batted .235 last year. You call that pretty good offensively?

I'm completely done waiting for weeks and his so called potential to arrive. We are in the middle of a pennant chase and we cant afford to give weeks more time. I don't care about hurting feelings. His plate discipline drives me crazy. He strikes out way too much for a guy who doesn't bring consistent power to the plate and his defense is below average. Meanwhile, we have a proven veteran on the bench in Durham who has seen it all and has been a consistent offensive player throughout his career. Am i missing something here? START DURHAM!

There is no way in hell i do this trade even if it were available. Laporta and Gamel are hands off in my mind. These guys have Ryan Braun potential written all over them. A few months of a good but not dominating starter is not worth it

I do believe that a newer upgraded stadium like Miller Park was probably necessary for the team. However, there are a few things that I really miss about old County Stadium. First off, I really miss the bleachers. The left field bleachers was the place to party and even though I was a little kid back then and it got pretty rowdy, my family and I always sat there. The experience in Miller Park's bleachers isn't even close. I'll never forget some of those games at County. I also really miss the grass at County Stadium. It was kept in excellent condition compared to the grass at Miller Park.

What could be better? The cubs lose in heart break fashion after rallying in the 9th. The brewers get a big win with good hitting and an awesome pitching performance by Vargas and a nice debut for Linebrink. LET'S GO BREW CREW!!!!!!!!

I just got home from the game. It was my second time at wrigley and i made those IGNORANT CUB FANS hear me cheer loud and proud for my team throughout the game. However that was about as sick as i have ever felt after a game. I still plan on going back next year again. We gotta get them back!!! Those cubs fans are the most irritating fans in baseball and I can't wait until they go on another losing streak. GO BREW CREW!
