  1. I don't think MLB cares about the college football schedule. On Saturday they'll plug in the Yankees, Red Sox (if they survive), and Phillies into strategic slots. Brew Crew gets whatever is left over. I expect either the earliest or latest game on Saturday.
  2. Anyone old school enough to not have cable should be old school enough to be ok with having to listen to Uecker on the radio. I'm more concerned about game times. Not excited about the possibility of Game 1 and/or 2 being in the late slot.
  3. Since the Braves, Brewers, and Dbacks are bunched in the standings.......... If Atlanta wins the wild card and has the 2nd best record in the NL, will they have home field advantage in their division series? Brewers really need to win some games and secure that #2 seed.
  4. I don't like the idea of a division winner having to sit around for 3 or 4 days waiting for its division series to begin. This isn't like football where some division winners would get a bye and an easier road. Also not like football where teams need to rest before playing.
  5. Normally I'd agree with you, but check out this forecast: weather link
  6. Looking ahead, weather is supposed to be miserable in DC on Saturday. Should we expect a DH on Sunday knowing that this is the Crew's only trip to DC? Brewers play in Philly Monday night, and Nats have Monday off. Would mean Yo on 6 days rest, not sure if that is good or not. I guess he could pitch Friday if they realize that Saturday might not happen.
  7. Remind me where the sun/shade break is, especially in the loge or club levels, for a summer day game. Thanks!
  8. Doesn't have to be the retro logo, an online store with a good selection of current stuff would do as well.
  9. not knit caps, but actual baseball caps in small sizes for the little one.
  10. Anyone know of a good online store to get some Brewers caps in infant or toddler sizes? I've got a new little one and need to get him set with some caps. Ideally would like the old ball/glove logo. I've searched around online but have yet to find a good store.
  11. A neighbor gave me some tickets for an upcoming day game. They were purchased at the Kids/Senior price. Will I have any trouble at the gate since I don't meet the kid/senior criteria? There is no marking on the ticket itself to say it has to be used by a kid/senior. I figure someone on this board has experience with a similar situation.
  12. Those of you going to Camden, I think the upper level seats behind home plate provide some of the best views. Much better than lower level down the line, or the upper rows in the lower level behind the plate (which can be somewhat obstructed due to the overhang. The Philly ballpark is quite a surprise. They did so many things right. Consider swinging thru Annapolis to check out some great restaurants on the water. Take a tour at the Naval Academy to watch the future leaders of our military suffer through their Plebe Summer in 90 degree heat.
  13. Hadn't thought of that. I haven't been to a game in a few years. Is that resale zone supposed to be face value or under only? I don't feeling like dealing with the pros who try to negotiate ridiculous prices.
  14. Thanks, I saw that as well. Just hoping someone with prime seats was looking to dump them since it was a midweek day game. 1st rows of the loge behind the plate are some of my favorite seats.
  15. I'll be in town from the East Coast for the June 27 game. This will be only chance to catch the Crew at Miller Park this year. I'd like good seats, so I'm hoping a season ticket holder is looking to dump their seats for this day game. Let me know if you have tickets, or please point me in the direction of any other Brewer fan boards that may be able to help.
