    For me it is mostly that the Brewers are picking lower, and the draft isn't very rich in talent this year. Combine that with the fact that the Brewers are winning and whoever they draft won't contribute to that for 3 years or so anyway (and I do follow the minors quite closely) and you get me not caring much. For now, anyway.

    MR's K:BB rate has been phenonal the last couple starts, but he's been hit up pretty hard since then too. I hope he can improve much from them. I still consider him the top Brewer Pitching prospent in th minor leagues. And I think Yo Gallardo is a TOTAL STUD! We might have a couple of aces here.

    Yeah, talk about major damage control for Mike Jones tonight. Six hits and a walk in 3 innings and he only allows 1 run.

    Ok, what changed 2 years ago to turn Ben into a K pitcher? It is definitely fun to watch.

    That isn't Yo's "usual". What has been up with his K numbers over his last two starts? Looks like for now anyway that both are gonna end up Ls.

    Well you guys are harder on him than I am. I definitely see the ability and the potential. I just don't understand how a guy who throws as hard as he does with good decent offspeed stuff gets hit so hard. Add in the fact that he is wild, which should help reduce hits, and I just bewildered.

    What is up with Mark Rogers getting hit so hard. I can take walks at times from a young pitcher who is making adjustments and has wicked stuff. But you'd think with the nasty stuff he is supposed to have combined with his erratic control would make him very tough to hit. Doesn't seem to be the case.

    Thats 13 straight set down now for Doug since that 3 run second inning. With the low pitch count the bullpen should be well rested headed into the big Atlanta series.

    The Arizona boys are coming up big so far tonight. HR for Spivey and a 3 run triple for Moeller who is 3-3 on the evening. I still like his potential as a potent stick.

    Not a real good 3rd for the crew. I think that run pissed RJ off.

    His numbers look good again through 4 innings, but does his stuff look as overpowering as it has lately? Whats his velocity look like? Is he coming with the change occasionally? Man I wish I could get to a TV.

    Podsednik gets a IF 1B in the first steals second, but is stranded. Kinney with a rough start gives up 3 singles and 1 ER in the first. He's getting ahead on hitters, but not finishing. He makes up for it with an RBI single with two away in the second.
