    Just wondering if anyone was planning on attending the Chicago Sun-Times Show November 21-23 down in Rosemont, IL. I will be heading down on Sunday (23rd). I have to get my Matt Holliday home run ball signed. Paul Molitor is also scheduled for Sunday, among others. If anyone is interested in coming with me, I have room for two.     Thanks for all the responses via e-mail, phone, etc. We will begin tonight's (10/24) festivities @ 10:00 pm. We will be @ Duke's on the corner of Water and Juneau (it's the old Mel's on Water). It's low key and central enough for everyone. AND it provides us options to move if we want. Hope to see everyone there.

    Fellas, I hope everyone checks this before Friday (October 24th). We will be having our 2008 Season Party (1st of many, hopefully) on Friday night and Saturday night this weekend. Justin's birthday is this weekend so we want to have a gathering. Friday night (around 7pm) we will be going out. Saturday afternoon (around 3 pm) we will be having a grill out at my house (near Miller Park). After the grill out (maybe around 8pm), we will be heading out for further refreshments. This is open to anyone that made an official appearance in a 2008 Brewerfan.net softball game. Hopefully, you guys can make it to at least one of the events listed above. If you will be attending, just shoot me an e-mail and I will give the rest of the details.     Today, team, I bring you sad news. The 2008 Fall Softball League has concluded. There is no game tomorrow (Tuesday). Thanks to everyone for their participation and mostly solid play. With any luck, I would like to head up a team in 2009. I will gauge everyone's interest in the new year.     Luke, much like the great, Harry Houdini, has done a disappearing act. Luke has permanently gone back to Florida to recapture that law enforcement spirit and be back with his lovely fiancee and daughter.

    Due to an 0-6-1 record with two to play, management has decided to go in a different direction to jumpstart the Brewerfan squad. With that being said, I will be your interim manager for the remaining two (2) games. Full participation and heavy drinking is expected tomorrow after our game. Be there and let's have some fun... Gonna miss you, Luke.
