  1. Arrrgh, what is with Counsell? He's made more errors in this spring training than he did during all of last year's regular season. (::repeats to self:: it's only spring training, it's only spring training.) At least McClung is looking good out there (from what I can observe from here, which is just play-by-play.)
  2. I've seen a ridiculous amount of green Twins shirts at Target in the Twin Cities area, so it's not unique to the Brewers. The Red Sox have Irish-themed stuff all the time, but at least Boston is associated with Irish people....
  3. I'm watching the Cubs as for some reason my radio has a short. In any case, I don't know if WEVR in River Falls has deemed this a game they'll carry. Brenly is so v.v. annoying. So he refused to pitch Schilling against NL teams during ST? Yay. Fukudome is absolutely going to kill us this year!...if our guys can't keep their ball rate down. He's down with OBP from what I've seen, not so much down with hitting the pitches. So the magic smoke's finally leaked out of Craig Counsell's bat, I see?
  4. Thanks, everybody. I'll have to get some sort of answer about cable coverage of Brewers games for Hudson, River Falls, and Prescott for everyone here. From what I can tell, the FSN feed is "non-metro" which I assume does mean the Wisconsin feed, but the HD FSN is the Minnesota feed (at least for Prescott.) People at Comcast were a bit clueless about the Extra Innings blackouts, so I couldn't really get an answer right off. I have my connections, though, and I'll try to get some good data for everyone.
  5. Does anyone know if the eastern part of the St. Paul metro area (but still on the Minnesota side) is blacked out for Brewers games for either Extra Innings or mlb.tv? The map I found is rather fuzzy on that. I can get Brewers games over the radio here if I try really hard (and if the station feels like airing them, which isn't the case with the spring training games.)
