  1. 20% off at Boston Store with Goodwill donation! $20 shirts instead of $25. Blue w/ roster, Grey on field and sweatshirts ($65?). No hats at the one at Mayfair.
  2. Doesn't look like the prices will go down... from whatever they set as the original "demand price". So it doesn't look like the later you wait the better the price. You can get in early at the low price or if it isn't a "high demand" game you can get that same low price later (baded on availability), but not going to keep going down. From the full story on Brewers.com "Pricing for seats in those locations for the three games is subject to change and fans should be reminded that the best deals will most likely be found early as the price will never be lower than the initial offering."
  3. I was there last summer, only on the Canadian side. Made of the Mist is worth the tour, great views. You WILL get wet! Lots of great vantage points above as well. Very clean park-like settings. Not very "touristy" right at the falls. Some shopping, casinos, restaurants etc nearby.
  4. I'm dying to know what #2 was on your list...
  5. If you look under "group sales" in the ticket area the bobble head dates are listed as such.
  6. Watching any ONE of those by themself is good, seeing all of them playing at the same time is priceless.
  7. Have been to about half of the MLB stadiums. We were doing at least one every year (until the baby came last Nov, which has slowed things). I think anything with in 10hrs driving has been accomplished and our honeymoon was all 5 in Cali. In addition to others we have knocked out over the last 9 years. By far our favorite was PetCo in San Diego. Lots of cool things there. After you go to a bunch of stadiums you want the next one to have something different/unique. PetCo looks cool inside with the building fronts (since it is built right in downtown), you can stand behind the left fielder on the field level (if you go out the back of their store), there is a Wiffle Ball field behind the scoreboard for bored kids and a monitor on the back of the scoreboard so parents there can keep up with the game.... out list goes on for this one. Comerica was much nicer than we had planned for. The area around isn't great, but a few bars etc within walking. Miller Park is always at the top of our list as well, partly due to familiarity, but mostly due to the fact it IS a great stadium. New Busch was not good for us. Actaully pretty boring for a new stadium IMHO. We sat on the second level and were much further away than when you would be at Miller Park or most other stadiums. Target Field on the radar for 2011. Could go on and on...
  8. Text STOP to stop receiving. They are always at the home plate gates. So no need to really text anyways unless you aren't leaving through those doors. And it is everytime they win.
  9. I believe the reason is because they didn't think they had to do more exciting ones (lunch bag, cap etc.). No different than how they treated some season ticket holders this year. They thought there would be 3 million easy and they didn't have to try or work for the attendance. Lots of truth to the "direct marketing/spending" nature of the coupons. But I don't think the economy is as much of the reason as the arrogance of some of the sales/ticket office staff/management.
  10. $18 + shipping is not bad. Maybe a little high, but if you want it then the price is right. Prolly will find one for less someday, but how long do you want to wait and hope?
  11. Friday 9/10- TB 431 Row 1 (AISLE)- $30/pair $20/pair Saturday 9/11- TB 430 Row 3 (AISLE)- $30/pair $25/pair Sunday 9/12- TB 431 Row 1 (AISLE)- $30/pair $20/pair Much cheaper than the $50/pair Marquee price. Reasonable ANY offers considered. Ben
  12. Yount 3,000 not included makes sense based on the above explination. No hitter is a big one. But why no CC? Seems like he was as big a part of that stretch (maybe on a more consistant basis) than one Braun HR. Might be hard to have 2 from one short time frame, but when you haven't been there in 26 years it is pretty big.
  13. It isn't cool. If you are interested in the same item post your own thread or say something like "if there is another I'd be interested" etc. That is pretty standard protocal here. Kinda shady to try to jump in just because you could reply faster or earlier.
  14. Maybe she never opened it to inspect and assumed it was fine, still not cool for a seller with that much experience. Overall I have had many, many positive esperiences on ebay (buying and selling) so even given the "tough to swallow" nature of something like that, I try not to take it out on the whole. Unfortunate definatelly, but rare hopefully.
