  1. Money savings now??
  2. I'm a pessimist and I feel a Woodruff stumble coming tomorrow.
  3. I've said this before, but I am really thankful for the Mark Attanasio era. Of course I understand we haven't won a WS but I have to imagine we're near the top of winning percentage since he took over in 2005. I think he's one of the least meddling owners and he selects smart people to make decisions for him. I was just appreciating it last night as me and my family watched the Brewers smoke the Reds (well, at first)...can you imagine being a fan of the Pirates or Reds over the last 20 years? Woof. I love the competitiveness and the fact you can turn on the game or show up at the park and usually enjoy the game. A well-liked superstar, a new prospect, smart coaches, etc.
  4. Hmm, weird the call up came during the Brewer and Sounds game, almost in reaction to Rengifo injury. But I guess not.
  5. First time seeing this Elika Williams. Not sure how he's a major leaguer. Looks like a teen boy.
  6. Not sure best place to post this but why hasn't Andrew Fischer been moved up to Biloxi? 1.000+ OPS and only -0.2 age differential for A+. Strikeout rate?
  7. Seems like a weird extension candidate. Why wouldn't we see how his stature and numbers translate to MLB? Pratt and Chourio are respectively at a premium position and felt like can't miss. Lara seems much more mirage.
  8. A Lara call-up would be nice as well. Option Perkins, play Lara over Sal so he's not sitting the bench.
  9. After close pitches, I've noticed catchers looking into the dugouts. I have a guess that they are looking at whether the pitch was a ball or a strike (based on ABS data), to inform further challenge decisions. I don't think it is out of the real of possibility of instant feedback on whether a pitch is a ball or a strike. And for that instant feedback to be used for cheating purposes. Meaning: a system in the dugout somehow duplicative or plugged into ABS, that is then relayed instantaneously via a tone in the ear of the catcher whether to challenge or not. Yay or nay?
