  1. Reading Pride and Prejudice and Zombies right now and while it is pretty good, it isnt what I expected. The old style of writing does get a little annoying, but should have expected that as it is Pride and Prejudice with zombies.
  2. *** DA Semi-spoiler below (maybe) I think the choices you make may have an affect at the final little wrap-up at the end, but not sure as I have only completed the game once. Essentially, when you complete the game there is a paragraph on each rach/group you come in contact with through-out the game and what happens to them after your story ends. Specific choices you do make are mentioned in some of these wrap-up stories, but not sure if that is a result of those choices only. Or as a culmination of those choices, as well as the other smaller choices you have made interacting with those groups. Either way it is not all that satisfying. I was hoping for more immediate responses like: You give a person in need 100 gold in the beginning of the game and then you run into that same person later in another part of the game and that 100 gold you gave them opens up a new path that would not have been there before. Maybe, I am asking for too much.
  3. Just finished it as a Dalish Rogue specialized as a Ranger/Duelist and really like the combo. Maxed out all of the archery/Ranger talents and then dropped a couple into the Dual weapon/Duelist, so my character was really versatile. The creatures you can summmon, once you get them to the highest level, allow you to do crazy dps or even off-tank if need be. Your character can just sit back, pick people off, or jump into the fray and backstab the crap out of people. Really liked it because whatever you felt like doing attackwise, you could. Kind of a jack-of-all-trades, master of none Really liked the game the first time through and I am working a new character, but not sure how much will change on the second run. I was too nice to people with my first character, maybe I will go through and do everything possible to get money and screw the world over http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/devil.gif
  4. I work with a tech firm and when my customers need a UPS, I typically set them up with APC. I originally went with them because their site is great for configuration and their support has been very good. These are typically enterprise level units though, so I dont have a ton of experience with their smaller models. I would recommend checking out the APC site and calling their customer support. They can at least get you an option that will work with your power source with the run-time and expansion options you may want. This will give you a solid start even if you dont end up going APC.
  5. Some of my recent favorites have been: Brave New World by Aldous Huxley Lullaby by Chuck Palahniuk The Art of War by Sun Tzu I have heard really good things about Devil in the White City and I have always wanted to tackle The Fountain Head and Atlas Shurgged, but havent had the guts yet http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  6. Honestly, unless you really are looking to play the new games (which cant blame you there) a 360 on a standard definition TV looks a heck of a lot like the first Xbox. Until I had the hdmi hooked up I was kind of upset with the graphics I had. Not a deal breaker, but something to think about. As far as games, I have Call of Duty 4, Halo 3, Bioshock and Assassins Creed. Bioshock is awesome, but definitely a game you could rent and be done with if you dont dig too far into it. Call of Duty and Halo are great on-line games, but the campaign modes on their own are just ok. I have only had Assassins Creed about a day, so no verdict there yet.
  7. I was listening to ESPN 1510 today and I am 99.9% sure that they said the Brewers have in fact signed Gallardo...heard it at around 1:30 pm. Hope I heard it right.
  8. I heard that Rogers wants to sign as quickly as possible, as soon as he is done with school, could be as early as this weekend. He hasn't pitched that many innings yet this year, so he is looking to go right into the minors and get to work.
