  1. Well our weatherman has done it again, we are currently under a Winter Storm Watch effective from Monday night through Tuesday night. This is according to NWS Sullivan. 6-12 inches with strong northeast winds.
  2. Peavy, I think what you are experiencing is something called "weeping." I do not know if that is a technical term or not, but from when I had it several years ago, it was explained to me as a natural thing the body does to help cool down the skin. What others have said about what to put on it should work. When it dries, does it kind of flake up or develop some orangish spots on your skin that clean away rather easily?
  3. Oh that's a good little CC, oh that's a good little CC (Fielder then proceeds to blow on CC's belly creating fart sounding noises as CC giggles like a little school girl.)
  4. I think I am pretty well stuck with TWC, but as to tristar was referring to with the new format, my household was in the test market. That means I have been putting up with this for over a year and a half. This subject makes me angry b/c I can't do anything about it.
  5. Since I've yet to master the copy and paste feature, I want to bring up a story dealing with the shopping carts left in the parking lot. At Sentry in Delafield, my wife and I had finished putting our items in our car and I put the cart away. We both get into the car and start to leave when I noticed a person who did the same thing, but left their cart right next to their car with the cart return 10 feet away. So being the considerate fellow that I am, I asked my wife to stop the car. I got out to grab the stray cart, and very slooowly walk in front a very impatient vehicle, and put the cart in the cart return. My wife was laughing uncontrollably and the impatient shopper just sat there with an astonished look on her face, saying "I can't believe you just did that." That experience was very satisfying, for I finally got to bust someone for being inconsiderate and impatient.
  6. I stopped in there and called several other times to no success. I did get one reserved at the Wal-Mart in Jefferson last nite and picked it up this morning. I will be playing in a rather short amount of time and might not see this site for a few days. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  7. Pogo, I wish I could play the Civ Revolutions game, but I can't find it within 25 miles of my house in Delafield. I think they only made 100 copies for the PS3. After being out for over 10 days, supply should have increased to meet the demand. I want to let that game eat my life away.
  8. I think I might be the first to say for a set of beginner clubs for the lady. Cheap. Sports Authority by me in Delafield has sets of clubs for women under $200, heck that is all mine cost b/c I'm not that good of a golfer yet. Until I get a lot better at the game, I see no reason to spend a ton of money on mid-priced or top shelf golf equipment. As for the courses, I would recommend Camelot out of Lomira. It is a very well maintained course and some of the holes are actually challenging. For instance, I believe it is the 12th or 13th where you are driving off of a bluff with a very large area of swampland to the right of the fairway. As I said, I'm not that good, but that course should give you a bit of a challenge hopefully.
  9. I think I deserve a small pat on the back being only half serious at the time. And technically he is still our #2 starter looking at it from 2 ways. 1) He is still pitching after Ben Sheets or 2) We have Sheets and C. C. who are both #1's and we don't play by "actual" spots in the rotation. But seriously, Bush has been dealing lately with 3 dominant starts and only 1 hiccup since I made that last post. I think I read on espn.com's summary of the game where a note was made at the end where Yost said he is considering using Bush at home and McClung on the road for starts. Unorthadox, maybe, brilliant, we will see.
  10. I know that I don't follow the draft as much as I should, but I believe we usually wait until the kids start playing a bit before we hand out some nicknames. I want to break that trend if it really does exist. I've got 2 options for Lawrie A) Lawrie's salt or some type of other seasoning they have, or B) Wundo or the Wundo-kid, after the creole spice blend salt called Wun.Doe.Mus from Platteville, WI that can be added to everything from beef to mac'n'cheese to soup. Personally, the Wundo name would be more ironic as its a small competitor of Lawry's and of the different positions he plays where some scouts say the only spot he can't play is SS.
  11. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gifWith all the talk of Bush's ability to possibly be a #2-3 type starter, I think we now have small sample size proof that he is a true #2. Since he has been the #2 starter he is 1-0 with 3ER and 14 IP all runs on the solo shot meaning he is not walking as many. So, in theory, Nedly just needed to bump him up in the rotation 2 years ago and we would have made the playoffs last year being the dominant starter he is today as our #2 and only be 1/2 game back of the Scrubs right now.
  12. My main question of that picture(s) is why does the Prince have his hat on the ground while everyone else's is in their hand? The other question is can you tell the former boyscouts from the nonboyscouts? And great photo work everyone.
  13. Sorry I could not post this early as my job is outdoors but, I am actually going to look at the top of the 5th from a different point of view and an idea that has been brought up that I could find. I thought McClung was already starting to get loose before or just as Hall was in the on deck circle. He did look like he was warming up pretty quickly when J.J. started his at bat. Then Sheets comes into the on deck circle just at the end of Hardy's at bat. What if Ned Yost, yes our Nedly, was actually calling a bluff with McClung in the pen warming up and the Cubs walked Hardy to create a force out situation for a PH that would actually not leave the on deck circle? Do you really believe Yost would put McClung in a 1 run game against the rival Cubs after a day off with 3 good pitchers who should be able to go 2 innings if need be? Maybe Ned is actually getting better at poker than some of us have thought all along.
  14. Twobrew, I caught it, and since I have a DVR, I was able to wake my napping wife up and show her what I thought I had just seen. Technology is really great at times. But for the horrible camera work, I am at a loss for words.......
