  1. I'm extremely upset right now, but still holding out hope that perhaps somehow, some way, there is a rational explanation for this that doesn't end with me hanging my head and putting my Braun memorabilia on eBay. Say it ain't so, Braunie. Say it ain't so.
  2. I hope to God they don't trade Rickie. He still has tons of potential. And he's my favorite player. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Trade Hart instead. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Anything else I have to say is best put in the catharsis thread.
  3. I agree with the hearsay analysis and honestly...we have a 0.000001% chance of re-signing Fielder. So does that make the 0.00001% chance we have of signing Reyes better? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif
  4. Please let us know what he said, since I'm down here in Texas and can't listen. Did anyone else notice how emotional he seemed? I know he's gone after this season but hopefully he continues to remember how much his teammates and this franchise mean to him. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

  6. I think people are starting to get tired of it because it is all over the place. It has nothing to do with "Tony Plush" himself. For example, if he had only been interviewed by FSN Wisconsin and maybe one or two oddball radio hosts, no biggie. But for some reason the media, who have paid next to NO attention to the Brewers this year or in the postseason, have latched onto the alter ego. I loved it when Plush first came to Milwaukee, because I had always enjoyed him when he played in Pittsburgh and Washington. But he was able to fly under the radar there. The Brewer fan base embraced him and enjoyed his antics, and then suddenly the media discovered him and BOOM - he was all over the place. I'm sure he enjoys the attention but I wish the media would just back away a little. It's kind of like what happened with Lincecum and Wilson in San Fran - some of that weirdness has now become tiring as well. However, I still love me some T Plush. I just wish he was still Milwaukee's little secret. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  7. Is Miami hosting some sort of futuristic World's Fair or is this meant to be a legitimate baseball logo? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif
  8. Not a class move...I think we all knew Cammy was done after this season and was it THAT hard for them to keep him on the roster for a few more games? BTW, Marlins, if you don't want LoMo I'm sure a lot of teams would like to have him and his 1B/OF flexibility (hint hint, Doug Melvin).
  9. I can look at pictures of Gabe Kapler all day, LOL. But I'm hoping for a picture of Bushie this time tomorrow night. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  10. Have had great transactions with turborickey, Bobble Brian, and most recently, Kurt. A+ for all of you!! Got some great items to add to my collection of memorabilia. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  11. A friend of mine, a Cardinals fan, posted this on another message board. Interesting. I can't imagine how this is an issue for the Crew since we're not the ones retaliating against people.
  12. Hello all! In keeping with my new strategy of obtaining game worn merchandise and of completing a 2007 pinstripe mini set, I have the following items up for sale or trade (if there are no prices listed, make me an offer). The Cooper and Vuck bobbles, as well as the Brewers and Notre Dame jerseys, are on eBay right now under seller rivsfan77 if you want pics. I also have Carlos Lee and Bill Hall bobbles that are missing bats. As you can see they are up for trade, but if you have bats to trade/sell me, that would be cool too. List of Bobbleheads for Sale or Trade 2007 mini Robin Yount powder blue (no box, will only trade for pinstripe Yount and other pinstripe minis) Kentucky Speedway Horsepower mini bobble (no box, repaired) (2) Bob Dandridge Bucks bobble SGA (one with box) Sidney Moncrief Bucks bobble SGA (box) Jason Kendall SGA (no box) Doug Melvin SGA (no box) Scott Podsednik SGA (no box) Peoria Redwings AAGPBL (Chiefs) SGA (no box) Bill Hall 2006 SGA (no box, missing bat) Carlos Lee 2005 SGA (no box, missing bat, noticeably repaired) 2007 mini Cecil Cooper and Pete Vuckovich (pinstripe, in box) 2007 JJ Hardy (no box, noticeably repaired) Wanted 2004 Snappers Weeks bobble (almost anything Weeks) 2007 mini pinstripe Sutton, Caldwell, Gantner, Thomas, Simmons, Money, Yount FOR SALE: Blue Brewers pullover screened jersey $15 shipped White Bernie Tidal Towel $4 shipped Yellow Bernie Tidal Towel $4 shipped Notre Dame #83 replica jersey (Samardzija) $12 shipped I have other Brewers bobbles not listed here that I probably wouldn't trade unless the right item came along. So if you have one of my "wants," let me know what you're looking for and if I have it we can work something out. Thanks!
  13. Hello all! I've been pretty active on the bobblehead front around here but I'm moving into game used/worn merchandise as well. I'd like a game worn jersey from every affiliate and right now I have the Helena Brewers and the Nashville Sounds. Anyone who has game used jerseys from the Manatees, Stars, Arizona Brewers, or old Beloit Brewers stuff, please let me know! Doesn't necessarily have to be a player who made it to the bigs, although that would certainly be a plus. Also looking for Rickie Weeks, Gabe Kapler, and Tony Plush (jerseys, bats, etc.). Or if you have anything you're looking to get rid of, drop me a line. It might be something I'm looking for (but I just don't know it yet, LOL!).
  14. Forgive me if I'm unnecessarily bumping a dead topic (newbie here!) but I never cared for Lopez. My husband seems to like him for some reason, but I'm not a big fan of guys who don't hustle and even less of a fan of guys who can't be good teammates. Seems like Lopez fails at both. And Counsell is getting old, yes, but he is quite serviceable and very cheap off the bench. We lost today (dangit) but who else could give you that kind of at-bat in the ninth in a pinch hit situation? At this point I think he's worth what the Crew is paying him. But ask me how I feel about that a month from now. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Anyway, glad to be here and GO BREWERS! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
