  1. zingsheim, I know we already discussed but I would give you the Fielder for a retro Turnbow and his auto ball.
  2. Well I didn't pay yet ... I'm saying when it's over, I'll pay him. And Badger was the first guy who pm'd me.
  3. I'll pay Badgerfan since he's the only one who officially took it. Hopefully a miracle will save my $
  4. I've got an Abe Lincoln that says we find a way. PayPal bet. Any takers?
  5. 06 Cooper 07 Huntsville Fielder 07 Snappers Fielder Extra Weeks after the 30th
  6. I can't get to this game...I have a mini Vuckovich or Yount to offer. I'll need both but I can do the trades for the pinstripe. I'll need the blue one too though so if you're selling, let me know.
  7. Does anyone have an extra to sell? I will buy or trade two pinstripes for one. Thanks.
  8. Sorry. But since you are 17 I give you four more years before you give up. It's inevitable. Failure is only worth so much $$
  9. I heard the team photo is going to be on the cover of Popular Mechanics next month; they are doing a special about epic collapses.
  10. Anyone want to get wasted right now
  11. Yeah I was at the game...they were ruthless with Uecker. But I mean, honestly, how stupid was that decision? Who picked him to do that? I don't get that. Might as well have David Ortiz do the national anthem at Yankee Stadium
  12. I think a full sized sausage bobble is a given now...I see them probably doing that for the next 3 years to finish the set. I love your ideas though, esp. the Coco pointing model, that would be sweet. Prince one I think is kinda lame, but if he gets MVP, an MVP bobble would be cool.
  13. ^^^ I think that is an awesome idea. Add a Quevedo to the mix. Except make it a bobble-ass instead of a bobblehead. Seriously though, I think that would be really cool. How about a Kevin Seitzer bobblehead, or Mike Matheny? I think it would be awesome if they did Braves players OTHER than Hank Aaron. Yeah we all love Hank, how about doing a Spahn, Mathews, Torre doll?
  14. I got it on eBay for $114...just last Week an 03 Fielder Snappers sold at $200, couldn't believe it.
  15. Thanks BHF, that makes me feel a little better. Do you think it would hurt the value much? It looks fine from the front, it's just the profile that isn't right...I still think it should have been mentioned, however.
  16. This is the angle the seller used in the listing, this is not the same exact photo but it is the only angle they used: http://img522.imageshack.us/my.php?image=paul1xf4.jpg Here is the profile angle: http://img511.imageshack.us/my.php?image=paul2uw1.jpg
  17. No, hang on, I will post pics of it.
  18. I got this bobble in the mail today, and his head is tilted back, like, way back...I'm wondering if this is common, how the doll was made, or if I should be pissed at the seller. I looked at BillyHallFan's pics and it looks a little titled, but does anyone have a profile shot of this bobblehead, cus it doesn't look right, and I paid a lot of money for this.
  19. I have always disliked Bill Hall. The guy has always just really pissed me off. I hated him when he first came up, I hated that they re-signed him last year, and I hate him now more than ever. I thought he should have been traded last year, I thought he was one of the few players that we had to simply let walk after we didn't trade him. I didn't think he had a place on the team with the other young players we had...I hate his approach at the plate, his swing for the fence mentality, his strikeouts, his inning-ending pop-ups, his errors in the field in 2006...I can excuse his defensive struggles this year for a while, but he still takes horrible angles on balls all the time. He has a nice catch once a month and hits a home run once in a blue moon, and everyone thinks the guy has some sort of knack for the clutch, when all he did was hit like 2 walk offs for a losing team. He peaked last year, he will never bat .280, he will never hit 30 home runs again. I'm done, now you know how I feel about Bill Hall, my least favorite Brewers, just ahead of Estrada.
  20. Right, I'm not arguing that it's fair. Right now it's fair. Five years from now do you think two white Princes for a retro Prince will be fair? I doubt it, that's why I can never make those deals. Someone was offering me a blue Cooper for the Huntsville Prince...which really, is not a bad deal at all. But I just can't believe that down the road that Prince won't be going for much more than the $25 it is now. Also 40+5 = 45,000, so it's 1/9. If it were 35,000 whites and 5,000 retros that would be 1/8. And I really think those are pretty much accurate odds. The odds are an basically an average. You can have 30 people go in and not get a retro, but 10 people in a row will get one...in the end the odds are 1/9...odds are odds, they're not an exact science. Just because they're not in every box, that's still 1/9 odds.
  21. It's more like 1 in 9...I know people do trade 2 for 1, but I would never do that. I think that's a steal for the guy getting the rare one. Look what happens down the road...a white 03 Molitor is getting $20-30 and probably won't go much higher. A blue Molitor can take in $150. Maybe that's just me though, I don't sell my bobbles or anything, so when I get a rare one I'm pretty much locked in to keeping it...I woudln't do a 3 for 1 either.
  22. After this tank job there's no way Fielder will get MVP.
  23. Assuming they do five bobbleheads again and not another huge series of minis, who do you think will be the full sized bobbleheads the Brewers do in 2008? Here are my guesses: Italian/Bratwurst/Polish, JJ Hardy, Ryan Braun, Francisco Cordero - if he's still with the team, and for the last spot, I'm thinking Corey Hart or Jeff Suppan. I also wish they would either do away with two different bobbleheads and either do first 25,000 or something, or at least do away with alternate retros and go back to alternate navy blue jerseys. (edited title for clarity - hawing)
  24. Can one of you PLEASE post it over there, I've been trying for the last 24 hours and I can't login on that site. I get the same error messages. And when I do login I can't post anything. I would really appreciate it.
  25. Hi, I have a bobblehead I need help with. http://img524.imageshack.us/my.php?image=baberv4.jpg Obviously it's Babe Ruth, it's just that I got it several years ago, and can't remember exactly where it's from. My memory is telling me it WAS a Yankee Stadium SGA, but I could be totally wrong...I want to say somewhere from 2001-2003, 10,000 kids 16 and under or something. But I'm just lost. Haven't seen it on eBay and I've tried googling it and I can't find anything. If you know anything about it or can direct me to someone who can help, please let me know.
