Nope. I sent out three of four emails and each time they would tell me he wore a different number and then give me the name of a new team to contact. I eventually got lazy but there were still a few teams to try.

I didn't post everything but this is most of the good stuff. I have all the Brewers SGAs except mini brat as you can probably tell. I also have a good deal of minor league nodders and a 1975 Hank Aaron. In addition, I have a lot of the Forever collection Brewers bobbles. The auto balls are: In the first pic: Fielder, Weeks, Hardy, Braun and Molitor, in the second pic: Frank Thomas, Gallardo, La Porta and Cordero. The bat is game used and signed by Mel Stocker. I also got frames for all my 8x10's, but I have not put them up yet. I also have a really cool 11x14 signed by Donald Driver and Ruvell Martin but my camera ran out of batteries. It's my favorite photo of all the ones I have, looks really cool. I also have a few thousand cards but I lost interest in cards after I turned about 13. The Frank Thomas auto ball is also game used, Big Hurt gave it to me after a game at County Stadium in the early 90s. That is probably my favorite piece because of the story behind it. The retro Capuano is probably my favorite bobblehead because it also has a story.

None of those will sell. Complete ripoff. They might cost that much in a store, I'll be shocked if anyone goes for those. People don't understand that you need to just start all your auctions at $0.99. They will get up to value on their own ... and you save a ton of money by using a $0.99 start price. The FVF on something you start at $5,000 has to be massive.

The Brewers won't sign a big catcher. I think they will roll the dice on Estrada.

Pretty sweet. I like to think I have a pretty good collection ... I really need a case for the bobbles like you guys have. My current display kind of sucks. I'll post pics soon.

I got mine for $47 including shipping. It's because, just like the Fingers, Gorman, Cooper, they were nowhere to be found for a while. Then someone lists one, it sells for $100 and everyone starts throwing their's up there.

Most of this is ridiculous. To say that "funny beer ads do not sell beer" is awfully obtuse. Does funny sell anything except tickets to stand-up? Probably not, but that's not the point. The Clydesdale, the "Wassup Guys," I could go on and on but I don't remember them all ... the point is, Budweiser's ads are water cooler talk. Miller's ads haven't been. People who don't care about brand loyalty, which is probably most of the market, think Bud when they think beer. Busch has done a great job stamping their brand into the consumer's memory. I firmly believe A-B's ads over the last 15 years are one of the primary factors causing their dominance over the market. 90% of Miller's ads are just AWFUL. They went through a phase for a while when they were probably the worst ads on TV.

Damn, do you know how long this goes? Maybe I'll make it to Milwaukee this weekend
