  1. Thanx, guys. On the 29th I saw they were still asking like $64.95 for the remainder of the season and that is the full season price, IIRC. I called and asked, among other things, about a discount for the second half. The guy had me try plugging in a code he gave me and just knocked it down to like $57. I told him that was still too much and we left it at that. Now, yesterday I got an email saying the price is down to $34.95 so I went to plug in that code and it came down to $27.xx. I thought that was a deal and signed up for it. I had already tried it out in the past with some free trials so I know how good it is these days! The best thing I found out about it, even though I could not pick up the Crew game last night (I had it on the tube anyway) but it would give you live, up to the second, radio of either. So, when I get tired of BA and Rock again, I can mute it and listen to Bob and Corey without there being any 5 second timing being off. Sweet!
  2. Dogg -I captured it last night and posted my first YouTube vid. http://bit.ly/3SynAF
  3. To answer the question about can a player be traded while down in the minors? Ian Snell, the pitcher late of the Pirates was down on the farm when he and Jack Wilson were sent to the M's recently
  4. Agreed; don't see the hate, either. I am jealous. As a kid I would imitate the Milwaukee Braves' hitters. Let him have his 15min. Chill out you haters http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif
  5. Yep, I heard at the time he was on Letterman he will also be on many of the other FSN channels now, also.
  6. Near the end of the game last nite, Batting Stance Guy did a Prince walk-off imitation (to BA's announcing) and the funniest thing BY A MILE was when he 'untucked 'em' after rounding first the jersey came practically down to his ankles. Too funny! I backed up the DVR and showed it to my wife who was in another room at the time and she cracked up also.
  7. How would a person from WI go about, if he is on the road around the country a lot, signing up for mlbtv so he could still see the Brewers while on the road? Thanx in advance!
  8. I was just asking, honestly, if you learned something from Dave because you stated you never learned anything from Cuprisin. That is all. Nothing else.
  9. OK....fill me in on a site. But, Eileen, did you learn anything from Dave Tianen? He just gave his opinion on concerts if I got this guy correct
  10. My inference was that maybe one of the other papers in the state worth its salt may have someone who does the similar...
  11. http://www.jsonline.com/entertainment/tvradio/ I read some of his stuff fairly regularly. Any suggestions where to find similar info after he is tailights?
  12. Yours also.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif
  13. I mentioned it in the chatroom and later Rock dropped the name of Tony Cloninger a pitcher for the Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves in the mid 60's who also nailed 2 grand slams in SF in '66, the teams first year removed from Milwaukee. TC had 9 ribs in that one with another hit. They intentionally walked to get to him both times he had the homeruns. According to wikipedia: He compiled a career .192 batting average with 67 runs batted in and 11 home runs, including five in 1966. On July 3, 1966, in a Braves 17-3 victory against the Giants at Candlestick Park, Cloninger helped himself with the bat when he hit two grand slams and drove in nine runs. He became the first player in the National League and the first pitcher ever to hit two slams in the same game, also setting a major league record for pitchers with his nine RBI.
  14. I knew there had to be a reason the guy has moved as much as he has. That laziness bug sounds familiar now that I think of it.
