  1. I’m starting to wonder if it’s Counsell’s…
  2. I was going through my signed balls and came across this one. For the life of me, I can’t figure out this one. Im about 90% sure it’s a Brewer. Any help is appreciated.
  3. I called the Brewers and didn’t get far. I could tell the person whom I spoke to at customer service wasn’t even sure what I was asking about. Anyone have any insider info??
  4. Rest in peace Ryan.
  5. $13 mil a year for a 4+ ERA doesn't sound all that great to me.
  6. A power tie is usually the color red.
  7. The big one when I was a kid was the Griffey Jr. 1989 Upper Deck. The 84 Marino rookie card was big deal too. I of course, spent all of my money on both when I was a kid and still have them.
  8. Yeah thats true. Yeah, I saw Yount signing, I guess I should of specified "nobody" as in no current player Ive never been a big autograph guy, but I can understand why its getting harder to obtain autos. A few players I know from various teams have basically said its the people who collect tons of autos and sell them and rude fans that ruin it for them. I witnessed this first hand last week at Maryvale. There was presumably a class of 3rd-4th graders at the game (they all had school uniforms on) standing by the tunnel before the game. None of these kids knew who the players were, nor did they even seem to be fans of either team (Brewers or Dbacks), but it just amazed me how rude they were, *demanding* autographs from players. I even heard a couple kids yell at Yount to get his "you know what" back here and sign for us". Long story short the teacher finally comes down to supervise her students (crazy concept) and was upset that the players werent signing for the kids. It took everything in my power to not tell her that her students were being brats, but I refrained. On a positive note though, there was a young couple from WI there who had a handmade sign for their friend who has cancer. They got signatures from players on both teams and Robin took several minutes to talk to them and sign for them and invited them to come back early the next day and he said he would sign things for their friend. Pretty cool gesture I thought. Even though this situation sucks, there are so many times where some respectable and polite kid who wants a signature and the player walks pass them.
  9. Just wanted to note that I was BREWCREW5 previously and I am now YEP! with the new forum here. Feel free to trade/sell/buy from me!
  10. We should probably give Aoki a bit more time before we decide he is terrible...
  11. I heard the place was not making any money. It was not a sports restaurant by any means. Also, Lake Geneva is a basically a little Chicago....not sure why Braun would even bother there.
  12. Nice work, very nice. How hard are they to get down there...have been thinking about making a trip for years?
  13. Looks Awesome.
