  1. I would guess that you'd make a lot with little to lose.
  2. Look at the WHIP difference between the two pitchers for this game. If it wasn't for the history possibilities tonight, Cub fans should stay home. It will be a cold boring game without much question about the outcome.
  3. Might have to watch the game tonight and see if history is made.
  4. We better have our bats ready to go today, it's going to take a lot of runs to help out the defense. Can't expect to have a great day hitting like yesterday, but a good day will make us competitive.
  5. Peralta was just lucky that Minn was just as terrible as Milwaukee at getting rbi with runners on and no one out.
  6. Peralta has a chance now to get to 7 innings after the 9 pitch 5th. Maybe even a chance for a win!
  7. I have to remember, no matter how bad some Brewer pitchers are, most of the time they don't have the hitting to win.
  8. Only 15 pitches that inning! I think he's found the magic!!!! Ha! Ha!
  9. IF he doesn't lose this game, he will blow up the pen. We just got a break yesterday without having to use it, now Peralta will make a mess out of it - 43 pitches in two innings. Do the Math! Its April, they have a full pen and the DH. I wouldn't sweat it. Worse case they use a guy for 4 innings and rest him a bit. I would agree if we ever use a middle guy for more than 3 innings.
  10. IF he doesn't lose this game, he will blow up the pen. We just got a break yesterday without having to use it, now Peralta will make a mess out of it - 43 pitches in two innings. Do the Math!
  11. Now we will see how other teams handle runners on base and no one out!
  12. It will take a ton of runs to win this game with Paralta on the mound. Could have been a big inning.
  13. Peralta = 10 era Santana = 3 era. Might be over before it starts!
  14. If he pitches his usual "bad" game, should the Brewers make a change? There might not be any possible change to make accept releasing the guy. I wouldn't feel bad if they did release the guy. Now moving him to the pen might be the best thing if Peralta would be up to that.
  15. Why plan this early in cities this time of year when Milwaukee has an indoor stadium sitting empty?
  16. Looks like I'll have to settle for All in the Family. These are not Happy Days.
  17. I keep getting this feeling that if the opponent scores 3 or more runs the game is over. The TC pitcher throws 27 pitches in the first inning and we can't make him pay for it. Anderson is not in control this time.
  18. That was a nice game. Nelson and Anderson sure have been fun to watch so far this year. I'm turning into a Thornburg fan too. Broxton needs to sit, or go to AAA.
