  1. I stand with BrewerWorld’s reporting
  2. We are truly lucky to watch such an exceptional player on a daily basis. I'll bookmark this!
  3. Hitting coaches getting axed. Kevin Seitzer in Kansas City and Chris Chambliss in Seattle. Remember when Chambliss was considered a possible manager not that long ago, including Milwaukee.
  4. Unicorns and leprechauns! What a ride. What a team. Easily my favorite Brewer team.
  5. Yeah, what he said. Someone tell this team they're "done" and chasing unicorns. What a joy to watch them not quit.
  6. Anyone catch Witrado's SN article last night (sorry, trouble linking from my phone)? Makes a case for Braun deserving it but making it clear the concerns listed here about him being blackballed are valid. Even if they did something like finish 16-4, I don't think he wins. He should, though. He's been amazing
  7. It'll be Harper based on the national guys I follow on twitter. Frazier has gotten some love and rightfully so but Harper gets so many mentions, I'd be surprised if it isn't him.
  8. Someone tell this team they're done!
  9. I never said the path was easy. Who said that? They have an opportunity.
  10. Could use Rogers like the Braves used Medlan. The depth certainly gives the team flexibility.
  11. You know this how? I've yet to see you point out any unrealistic expectations by any posters. I suppose being excited about September baseball makes me unrealistic.
  12. I know. Everyone should say it's over. Silly them to point out its not over.
  13. Who has unrealistic expectations? I don't see anyone posting they're going to actually make it. But they are in it, despite the long shot it may be. Can't wait for 2013 either. They'll be in it then, too.
  14. They're still in it. No doneclub here.
  15. The run isn't done yet.
  16. No, but they'll have a chance to contend in 2013. No doneclub for them.
  17. Was there in the Upper Grandstand. Still have the ticket and the "19" signs provided by old Lazer 103. For some reason, the number was red. Also, that night, there was a vote to bring back Bernie Brewer. I was one of about 100 that proudly voted no!
  18. I don't know that they're going to get rid of him, I'll just be curious to see what they do. I like Hart at 1B a lot better than Hart in RF. What do you think of Hunter Morris?
  19. I'd think Bianchi is going to be the guy with/behind Segura. I'm going to be curious to see what they do with Gamel. I wonder if we haven't seen his days in Milwaukee. Ron seems pretty happy with Corey at 1st and Morris is going to be at Nashville next year.
  20. The exciting part about that thinking is.. he would be right. The lineup is super solid. The young pitching (rogers, fiers, estrada) is blossoming splendidly. We still can get a good look at some more (burgos, peralta) and we just need to shore up a bullpen. We could ride a nice wave into next season with a really nice mix of youth and exprience! Bingo. I really don't look at 2013 as a lost season. I fully expect a move for a starting pitcher and a few guys being given Hawkins like deals to put in the pen. I'm all for trying to win in 2013. The lineup is good enough and I don't think they have to strap themselves financially to add a few pieces.
  21. I care. I bet the players care. If you don't care, why are you paying attention? The players are talking about making a run. Going to be a fun off-season either way.
  22. I hope the Brewers don't do anything silly and try to win
  23. I don't think they'll actually make the playoffs but I can say I'm impressed they didn't mail it in after Zack got traded. Given the gut punches they've had from the bullpen, it's refreshing to see them playing hard and smart for the most part. Plenty of other teams that moved parts have dipped dramatically. I think it says something about these guys and makes me hope they stay in it.
  24. Can and should Aroldis Chapman?
  25. Random NL things I find interesting: The Padres won 8 in a row and brought up Casey Kelly who had a nice debut last night. Can the Pirates get to 81 wins? Is it truly important? Not in the grand scheme but I remember Brewers fans enjoying that 81 win season in 2005. Baby steps Will the Dodgers overtake the Giants after their acquisition spree? Would it be a failure if they don't make the playoffs? Finally, how far will the Mets fall? They're currently 10 under .500 and are 13-29 in the 2nd half. A pretender in the 1st half, a harsh slap back to reality in the 2nd half.
