My God Geoff smoked that pitch. Well at least runners on third and second. Come on Miller and Gwynn. -
Alright Prince walk, Mench hit. Come on Jenks!
-
Good start guys!
-
Dont get me wrong I love JJ, and I still think hes one of our best players. But yeah he has not hit that well over the past couple of months. I dont know exact stats but they cant be that great.
-
Why not DL him for two weeks, and get his legs fresh for August/September? And by fresh I mean like that fermenting plastic bag of scallions that you bought a month ago and refuse to remove from your fridge for fear of vomitting. Ha! Thats funny. I'd be fine with them DL'ing Estrada and bringing Rivera up for two weeks.
-
Sore hammy or not, Estrada better sit a few days here. There is just no excuse for that lack of hustle on such a critical play in an extra innings game.
-
Jenks should be able to make contact with something other than his leg, shouldn't he? Im a huge Jenkins fan, but that was rather funny. Jenks had his Roger Dorn moment last night, tonight he hits the ball and far.
-
No I to wish Hall could have played tonight to. He always crushes Cincy pitching, and now he will only get two games against them this series.
-
Well I dont like ever seeing Hart out of the lineup. Hardy has not been on any kind of tear so I dont mind seeing Counsell get a start.
-
Oh yeah I almost forgot....Woogie lives!
-
I really dont care if Estrada is out cause of catching 10 innings yesterday or because Yost did bench him like he deserves. Im just happy to see Miller in there tonight. No Hardy or Hart though?
-
I dunno about Jenks hitting .290, but those 25 HR's are still a possibility. And maybe not quite 80 RBI but maybe 60 or 70.
-
BrewCrew, no, I fall into the "B" option above. If the original poster is correct that the pitching is horrible, then I'd rather get him out of there sooner rather than later. He'll wind up getting frustrated and flail at anything. The important thing is his ankle, not his stats. Bring him up! Here, Here to that! I want Billy back in our lineup. We need some kind if spark, Ryan and Prince cant do it alone.
-
Klesko wouldnt be bad, but he really is at about the same talent level as Jenkins. Actually because of defense Jenks is above him. Both are vets, but Id stick with Jenks over Klesko.
-
That is a very cute little pup there danzig.
-
A. He's not ready to be activated. B. We better activate him soon before the crappy pitching ruins all of his mechanics. So because hes only 1-3 with an rbi he shouldnt be activated?
-
Thanks trwi. Looking forward to seeing him back for the Brewers tomorrow.

Has anyone else noticed Estrada dogging it out there?
BrewCrewForever replied to kmcasper23's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Estrada is not the one man to blame for that pathetic loss yesterday. It was a team effort when you score only 1 one, but I just cant stand seeing guys getting paid as much as they do not playing the game hard. And that was a situation where you have to be running as hard as you can to try to win a baseball game. Maybe Johnny was thinking about his Hummer H3 with the big ass rims on them, instead of running out a groundball. -
Holliday would be a great replacement for Jenks, but I have a felling the asking price would be rather high.
-
If I see Grant Balfour pitch in the game tonight I will protest the rest of the game by turning my TV off. I better not see him.
-
Any word on when Hall's game was today and what he has done in it?
-
Yeah LaPorta should be good to go by 2009. So if we can keep Jenks for two more years to play LF and hit RHP Im all for that.
-
A Chance for Koskie by September?
BrewCrewForever replied to Hate those Rodents's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Its too bad Corey cant contribute to this good season the Crew is having. Sure we have Braun who is better, but Koskie would have been a good option off the bench. -
Looking at the Brewers Bullpen..... Let's play a game.... Something doesn't belong..... ???? Grant Balfour?
-
This reminds me of a guy on the ESPN boards that wants to trade Weeks and Capuano to Washington for Belliard and Ray King. Wow, that is why Im glad I found this board back when I did and never went to the ESPN board. As far as trading Braun, I don't think I would trade Braun for anyone. Except maybe Alex Rodriguez. Yeah that is the only guy I would trade him for. And honestly A-Rod cost way to much. So probably wouldn't trade him for anyone.
