  1. When the Crew go down early and people are saying “that should just about do it”. or “we can’t compete with the top teams “. When the Crew have or are right around the best record against teams over.500.
  2. My wallet would have greatly appreciated your hot take.
  3. I thought the Miz had reliever written all over him.
  4. Haha. All hot takes are welcome!
  5. This thread is reserved for the past (this season only) and future (this season only) Hot Takes. Call out yourself or another poster that had a Hot Take that did or did not come to fruition. It’s all meant in fun and hopefully gives some perspective to how fandom is emotional games to game.
  6. Owners are pushing for two years out of high school I believe. Pitching has also changed so much the last 5-7 years. I think the “ingredients” make it less likely.
  7. The in game threads have some serious hot takes game to game. Calling Chourio a disappointment with the 2nd best OPS on the team at 22 is definitely top 5.
  8. The likelihood someone does this again is basically zero. With a new CBA and pitching how it is, this will be almost impossible.
  9. Totally agree. He’s 22 years old sporting an OPS over 800. The only everyday player higher is Bauers. People want Vaughn who is 40 points higher on OPS but can only play against a lefty and is a bad defender and can’t run. I will guess Chourio will OPS around 850 for the year. That is star level production. And he’s only 22. Some of our fans are just unrealistic. I will take a WRC plus of 127 for every single player on the team.
  10. It just seems so simple. Yelich and Vaughn platoon as DH. Sal is the 4th outfielder. I know people love Vaughn but he’s bad against righties and his lack of power is concerning.
  11. I think maybe his point was if you believe Ashcraft is a stud and Sproat is bad, you are better off running your worst against their best since it’s “likely “ a loss in your eyes either way.. yes Sproat was bad today.
  12. I completely understand what you are saying. He has control issues and he’s probably getting sent down. He does have good stuff. Maybe he will never be able to find control. Hopefully the lab can help him figure it out.
  13. Just looked it up. It has never happened. Only 27 hitters have ever had three plate appearances in one inning.
  14. I got a feeling Chourio is about to get hot. He reminds me of Ryan Braun. As soon as they take one opposite field it just locks them in.
  15. Just brutal. He looked tired and demoralized. I know they needed some innings but he was in too long.
  16. He’s been pretty good lately. And you know the clubhouse loves him.
