  1. I am one to temper expectations and realize this is a 6 game stretch and like any other 6 games in the season is quite a blip on the radar. However, a lot of the question marks offensively have done really good out of the gates. It gives me some optimism that some of these guys can step up and be relevant offensive pieces. I doubt but we have dug up the holy grail and all these guys keep it up…but we don’t need them all to. We don’t need career high Winker/Anderson, but something useful on offense will go a long way with a few rookies doing the same. I hope this is a division winning type team and a team worthy of adding at the deadline. The likes of Burnes/Woodruff/Peralta give us an opportunity to make a playoff run with a decent offense that won’t flop when elite pitching shows up. Who knows how things look in 2 months, but at least this start can give one hope that maybe this team has way more potential than we were originally expecting. Instead of a WC maybe we can go for the division and maybe put together a threat for a deep run like we had in 2018/2019.
  2. Ahhhh I got yah. I only skimmed the thread today. Thanks!
  3. I’m guessing you are talking about Matt Arnold, because I don’t know why Craig Counsell would deserve any credit as Winker has played well all year basically. This team has made it pretty easy for Counsell. If you are indeed talking about Arnold, careful with your hot takes. A 6 game hot streak is pretty meaningless. Are you also ready to release Corbin Burnes for his start. Time to release Wily Adames? Fun to start the year on a hot streak, but some of these hot streaks are probably not going to last and some will go back to how we expected them to hit and/or rookies will look like rookies.
  4. Haha sarcasm…though technically, not earning his salary so far lol
  5. Overpaid bum. Ain’t even worth a measly arbitration salary.
  6. I say the same to my significant other.🤣
  7. Finally, I was getting tired of that @Brock Beauchamp guys posts.
  8. I have finally cracked the code. The only explanation.
  9. Most of the time the people that are talking about costs at the ballpark are bringing multiple people...likely kids. Most people can feed their child 10 hotdogs in the parking lots and guess what, they will want one inside anyway. They probably will want the ice cream that someone walks by with to. So then your options are to buy it or listen to your kid tell you how hungry they are for 3 hours. A family of five shouldn't have to spend $100+ for small meals that are probably on par with prison food. People that are complaining about food prices don't want to tailgate. The experience is different to everyone and we all have different things we want out of it. Many could not care less if the Brewers banned tailgating tomorrow, others would riot. Many wouldn't care if a hot dog inside was $15, but they sure would care if every grill in the parking was charged $25 to fire up.
  10. Judging by your attitude in your posts, this must be your first date in years…isn’t it?
  11. Yah, even people that listen to him every year a bunch admit he has been spiraling the past few years. He is past due to retire.
  12. I’m really pulling for Mitchell. He is a fantastic athlete and great prospect. The total disrespect he gets from people because of Frelick/Weimer/Chourio is just plain wrong. He has a chance to be a really good OFer at the MLB level.
  13. Anyone outside of the Brewers zipcode can get MLB.TV, which is basically the same cost as Bally for 6 months.
  14. Mets have the lopsided payroll advantage However, we have the lopsided score advantage.✅
  15. The last Brewer to make their first homer a grand slam. Lets go down memory lane:
  16. Good nap on 2nd base there Yelich, should be at 3rd.
  17. Anyone can spend $20 a month to watch. It is accessible and anyone on planet earth with internet connection can watch the Brewers. Brewers baseball has never been more accessible and if you wouldn't own cable if not for the Brewers/Bucks it has never been more affordable to watch.
  18. My favorite part about all these hot starts is the fact we will all get excited and one of these hot starts is destined to be a total scam.
  19. I was merely referring to the general size of the base. It pretty much has to make the distance between 1st and home shorter. That wasn't a goal, but just something that had to happen to make the distance to second shorter.
  20. I would have to imagine the post is still centered on the base, thus, any change is equally distributed on all four sides.
  21. Is Attanasio going to announce he is selling the team during this interview?
  22. Daniel Vogelbach trying to stretch that into a double.
  23. The success is probably one of the bigger problems for OD turnout. It simply isn't the premium highlight of the schedule it used to be. Now you kind of hope/wait for some postseason games. It is much like a regular midday game now. Inconvenient and in cold weather to boot.
  24. If there was a poll of fans, how many actually want opening day (especially that isn't Game #1) at 1pm? We are one of only two mid-day games...and know we aren't one of only two opening day games.
