  1. I'm not convinced that this team has what it takes to win. Seems unreasonable that there is never a game where Middleton/Bledsoe/Giannis are all performing well at the same time.
  2. Kind of random, but former Bucks player Ray Allen is releasing a book next month, FWIW. https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/from-the-outside-ray-allen/1126646792#/
  3. I have yet to see anybody tell me why a team with a known glut of outfielders is signing MORE OUTFIELDERS who are OLD and COST LOTS. Whatever Phillips/Santana deal that Sterns has in the works better be legit.
  4. When we don't end up getting squat for Domingo Santana, then we will see how unbelievably dumb this signing is.
  5. I think this is a fair deal. Yelich is really talented/young, and we improved our glut of outfielders in the minors. Not to mention that Diaz doesn't have a place on this team if Arcia/Hiura are as good as we think.
  6. Nope, guessing he just used mine as a model. Very flattered!
  7. 1. Lewis Brinson 2. Corbin Burnes 3. Brett Phillips 4. Mauricio Dubon 5. Keston Hiura 6. Cody Ponce 7. Freddy Peralta 8. Brandon Woodruff 9. Luis Ortiz 10. Monte Harrison 11. Lucas Erceg 12. Tristen Lutz 13. Mario Feliciano 14. Isan Diaz 15. Trent Clark 16. Corey Ray 17. Josh Pennington 18. Phil Bickford 19. Jake Gatewood 20. Caden Lemons 21. Troy Stokes Jr. 22. Marcos Diplan 23. Trey Supak 24. KJ Harrison 25. Jordan Yamamoto
  8. Here is the twitter account of his stripper girlfriend. It's a start I guess.
  9. Not sure if you still post here, but I was curious what exactly happened to Zach Braddock? I heard personal issues and sleep issues; not sure if that is it or not. Also, do you know how he is doing? I met him once as a Brewer, and he was a super down to earth guy, so I hope all is well.
  10. Wouldn't be the first outfield prospect to fall off (coulter and taylor)
  11. Tom did a pretty good job. We had the same players in the top 5, but in different orders. We each had the same 9 players, but he had Marcos, while I had Brett Phillips.
  12. I'm curious... any significance to the bolded players? Bolded is Tier 1 Guys
  13. 1. Lewis Brinson 2. Josh Hader 3. Corey Ray 4. Luis Ortiz 5. Isan Diaz 6. Phil Bickford 7. Brett Phillips 8. Trent Clark 9. Lucas Erceg 10. Brandon Woodruff 11. Cody Ponce 12. Corbin Burnes 13. Braden Webb 14. Chad McClanhan 15. Mario Feliciano 16. Jorge Lopez 17. Marcos Diplan 18. Gilbert Lara 19. Jake Nottingham 20. Freddy Peralta 21. Nate Kirby 22. Devin Williams 23. Kodi Medeiros 24. Jacob Gatewood 25. Monte Harrison
  14. Why was Gord at fault for the Nashville Sounds no longer being a Brewers affiliate?
  15. I heard personal issues and sleep issues. Does anybody know of any other theories?
  16. Ray was the only college bat to start at A+. Nobody else, including Senzel, Lewis, Puk, etc., was promoted so aggressively. You can't use the "too much talent at Wisconsin" excuse because Ray could've easily spent some time in Arizona or Helena BEFORE going to a+.
  17. Can somebody please explain why the Brewers insist on sending guys to minor league levels they are not ready for yet? Such as having Ray BEGIN at A#, not having Kodi stay another year at A ball, etc? It seems like doing this is messing around with their development and confidence. Why not give these players normal, realistic assignments like every other team?
  18. I think one of AS or JN will be an OK stop-gap catcher for a few years. Good catching prospects, or MLB catchers in general, don't exactly fall on trees. However, there is no reason why, if nothing else, we can't acquire a catcher who is good at defense/pitch-framing, but can't hit at all.
  19. I actually heard a speech from a former minor league player, and he said that the Yankees strategy was to acquire talent (they need players to fill out all their teams) as opposed to developing talent. Basically the Yankees play the numbers game: if we have enough players in our system, then surely some of those guys will become good.
  20. Zonk 2:37 What Farm System, in your mind, had the worst season in terms of failed performances/injuries? Eric A Longenhagen 2:37 Milwaukee's.
  21. I think the END of Season top 30 Prospect List that we will create soon. should include our prediction for where guys (if applicable) end up in top 100 rankings. We could give our prediction, and then compare it to an average of mlb pipeline/BA to see where guys were close and others were off (which I think could happen if guys overrate Brinson, Woodruff, and Diaz). Or Maybe we could have a separate thread just for top 100 predictions after the AFL. Either way it would be a cool thing to do
  22. This is a very good list. I would switch Clark and Diaz because Diaz doesn't have the defensive potential one would hope for. I would also put Brinson around 18th or so because his 77 games at AA were more alarming than his 23 games at AAA were encouraging. Hader also gets put behind Corey Ray. Ray didn't move the needle much, but that is OK, considering that most prospect ranking services already thought highly of Ray in the first place.
  23. Demi and Kodi should say out of 61 ballots, not 55 ballots Also, Diplan is no longer with Wisc. Otherwise great job writing up the list as always
