[narwhalattack]

Well that was quick.

[tmwiese55]

5 years for 80 million. They better win it all the next couple years and hopefully the Santana deal is done before this news got out or his value tanks.

[ecjimg]

Whaaaaat! This is too much for my brain to process! Please announce the subsequent trade of Santana nowww

[bensheeps]

Looks like I picked the wrong night to go out with the family. Just WOW

[Warning Track Power]

5 years $80 million

[trwi7]

Sweet overpay!

[liveforoctober]

Holy smokes. Need time to think.

Stearns hates strikeouts apparently.

[endaround]

5 years is ...wow. Cain was still a great defensive CFer by MLB play by play stats last year but 5 years in this market...

[craigharmann]

Woah. What a day!!!

[Eye Black]

That’s a lot of money, but WOW!

[Invader3K]

I like Cain a lot. Feels like a but of an overpay, though.

[jjgott]

Can Cain play 2B?

Also, watch Travis Shaw's and Zach Davies' twitter accounts. The current players are loving it!

[wallus]

Have to keep adding now otherwise I don't like this signing.

[homer]

See ya Santana. Must be close on whatever trade they are working with him.

[liveforoctober]

Braun/Cain/Yelich/Santana/Phillips/Broxton

Over under 12 hours until the next move is announced?

[DocLuna7]

Just money. Don’t care. Go Brewers!

[adambr2]

Santana has got to be getting traded at some point here.

[82brewcrew82]

Sweet overpay!

Did they bust open your piggy bank?

[tmwiese55]

Have to think the Santana trade is in front of the league for approval right now.

[Outlander]

Love that BrewerWorld got this correct on Twitter.
