  1. Exactly, we have seen time after time the Brewers either not having their best pitcher available or nowhere near their best. From Sabathia, Gallardo, Sheets, Williams, Woodruff and even Fingers/Vuk back in the day. Since the playoffs are a near lock, let's try something different.
  2. My son is a Tigers fan and we went to a couple of games this past weekend. After losing two straight to the Royals the mood changed, Think they are finally content on trading Skubal.
  3. We have already seen how this team performs against lefties when lefty killers Chourio and Vaughn are gone. No thanks. As much as I think he was way overrated by the fanbase much of the year, he is a key player in the playoff run.
  4. I am not there today but have not seen changes to the wall since the Lockridge injury. Considering their franchise player is in LF would think they would do something.
  5. Can't imagine this organization trading Logan Henderson for a rental. It might be what it takes but won't be the Brewers.
  6. He has had plenty of those still during that 5-0 run, 22 runs in 32 innings, including 7 HR. Reminds me when Braden Looper led the 2009 Brewers in wins but also led the league with 39 HR given up.
  7. Since Jack Stern is in the media and might be able to even ask on Friday my question is about Jeremy Jeffress. He hasn't played in the majors since 2020 and is the only guy eligible for the Brewers Wall of Honor that has not had his day yet. Why not, he is even showing up for the legends game so wouldn't think there is bad blood?
  8. The Brewers will get Bauers best year of his career at 30. If Bauers took a one year deal at $10 millions then he absolutely is a better option than Vaughn but Bauers should find a multi year deal pretty easily as long as he doesn't totally collapse in the second half.
  9. Hall has been gone a while but never on the 60 man, will see how it plays out with McCullers as well and other injuries. Guys like Gasser and Yoho can always go to the minors if necessary.
  10. Rumor appears dead as quickly as started but would be interesting if it happened and have some left handed power off the bench in the playoffs. Don't currently have that with the left side, Sanchez and sometimes Vaughn provide right handed power off the bench.
  11. Mitchell has been so key to this team, took so much criticism from Brewers fans in Spring Training and these game threads. Just continues to produce when he plays.
  12. He declined heavily the same year as Yelich, 34. Yount gets a little credit for playing defense but wasn't great.
  13. The Brewers would have to clear at least one 40 man spot to fit both players but McCullers could just go on the 60 day IL as well.
  14. I had the game on most of the time doing other things, certainly boring. I'll take the game in Milwaukee every time even if it ends up in a tie over that grind of a game last night.
  15. I'm not sure why the Brewers would even do that considering the year Peralta has had, certainly would not be an innings eater. I guess they could count on him to pitch every start, that is about it.
