  1. It was noted Harrison is expected to make a start in the Detroit series so Crow probably won't be here long.
  2. A lot of talk the Brewers could have just selected in the rule 5 draft and in hindsight probably was for the best to just stash in the minors instead of accruing service time, using an option a year early and greater flexibility with th 40 man in 2025. Taylor would have been useful in 2024 but the Brewers also ended up getting Perkins most likely best year in the majors so a wash.
  3. Good series win against the Blue Jays in honor of Garner, hard fought. That 1992 team was great, just couldn't quite catch the Blue Jays that year.
  4. Liked the intensity out of Megill, seemed to be lacking out of this team. Let's get one more clean inning and send the Blue Jays back 7-11.
  5. Actually think Patrick in the bullpen would really help stabilize the bullpen. However, too many question marks right now in the starting rotation. Have to see if this is really a short term injury for Harrison, Sproat has a lot to prove and never know with Woodruff. Don't think the Brewers can count on Henderson and Gasser to come up and start every 5 days with their injury history as well.
  6. He is already past the point where he can get a year of service in 2026 unless he would be top 2 in ROY voting so it would be after the 2032 season. Of course a new agreement or lockout could change everything.
  7. Interesting matchup with a not very good LHP against a team not very good against LHP.
  8. The Brewers certainly need offense and Lara is on a hot streak. Kind of came out of nowhere, always been a nice player with decent OBP but has been a great couple week stretch in AAA. Don't want him playing the Greg Jones role though, if Lara is up then let him play, especially since he switch hits.
  9. A 20% walk rate is nice to see out of Mitchell but I sure would have liked to have seen him crush that 3-1 meatball he got in the 9th and won the game instead of leaving it up to Ortiz.
  10. DL Hall has been lights out, 7 straight scoreless outing to start the season, put out the flames in the 6th when Miz came out of the game.
  11. Megill not being able to create any swing and miss is obviously a big weakness. Not a ton of confidence in Uribe either, 2025 Koenig isn't here and it's Royals Zerpa instead of WBC Zerpa.
  12. Nah, should have been an easy out. Take an out when you can.
  13. The offense has been very Jeckyl and Hyde with Vaughn/Chourio gone but having the expected loss of Yelich against RHP is going to hurt significantly. Their play against LHP thus far can't be ignored, a major weakness 1/10 of the way through.
  14. That team with Hader wasn't ever going to win anything, they were a sinking ship. Having that 2024 team with Burnes is a different story, will never know.
  15. Disagree that Mitchell hasn't had much success, he has been an above average player when he gets on the field. Plus, he had a big playoff game winning HR during the 2024 playoffs.
