You have to be designated as a pitcher for a certain number of games right? its all about the designation. when you are designated as a pitcher you won't be able to go play the field and vice versa. After the player has the right number of games at both positions they can be designated a 2-way player.

As a senior he has that ability but I think that the kicker is that he still counts against LA's draft pool budget.

He wanted certain teams to offer him that contract. Wanted to be on an immediate contender rather than an up and coming team with prospects.

That a good point, there is a lot of outfield playing time that'll need to be divvied up next summer. For what it's worth, this is how I have it right now (with obviously not everyone being able to fit): Carolina Ryan Aguilar, Zach Clark, Rob Henry, Tristen Lutz, Demi Orimoloye, Joantgel Segovia Wisconsin Pablo Abreu, LG Castillo, Bryan Connell, Jesus Lujano, Je'Von Ward, Jay Feliciano, Nic Pierre (Insert Advanced-Rookie Affiliate City Name Here) Joe Gray, Micah Bello, Larry Ernesto, Francis Florentino, Pablo Garabitos, Carlos Rodriguez AZL Oswel Leones, Anderson Melendez, Alwinson Valdez, Arbert Cipion It looks like we need another rookie league team.

If you could pick one guy, who would you offer that single deal to?

I came across this and couldn't find it anywhere else here on the site. Thought it was funny him discussing trying a cutter. https://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/players-view-learning-and-developing-a-pitch-part-15/ I didn't know about the ball differences between college and the pros.

It will be a while before we see him. Isn't he on the DL for a broken hand. the suspension can't take effect until he comes off the DL correct?

On top of that, when was the last time that we didn't need an injury replacement at some point during the season. Having all four (Cain, Yelich, Santana, Bruan) is huge for the Brewers.

I saw him retweet a link this morning, but it looks like Tim Dillard now has a podcast with Ben Zobrist, Ryan Schmalz and Josh Costello. https://theshowandgo.podbean.com/ Still need to listen to the first episode.

I still think that he has one of the best active nicknames in the majors...The final boss

Should be or not and for the SP and 2B

Only problem was that he had no clue where it was moving

NL central has the most "Talent" according to that list. Just ahead of AL EAST

Makes me think that either Bandy or Susac will be jettisoned to open the 40-man spot needed for Logan. Either that or one of the 40-man catchers is involved in a deal soon to be announced. if it is a roster spot opening...I am not sure which one would be better to jettison. Susac was the better prospect but just has never put it together.

Interesting that they announced him as a catcher. Time to start some conjecture...will we be dealing a catcher?
