You would think having a manager who as a player with limited skills, who's best attributes involved him moving runners over bunting slapping the ball the other way doing what it takes to win, you would see a little more of that in this lineup. There terrible at manufacturing runs and making productive outs. I rather be a team like the BoSox who dont hit the HR and manufacture runs and win games then a HR reliant team.

With some of the bad arms in the bullpen i think keeping Hader there atm is a good move. You gotta be able to rely on someone besides Corey

The problem is bringing Barnes in close games. If Barnes is called upon i doubt he will decline to pitch.

Moore's curve may have been working because besides Domingo and Shaw in the first their approaches were lacking

His other best starts were against DBacks, Dodgers, Reds and 2 against the Nationals. When his curve is working he can beat even good offenses. Every bad pitcher has decent starts during the year. Overall he has been terrible, most teams lick their chops when he is slated to face them. In a playoff push you gotta manage better then the brewers did today. After the first Moore faced one over the minimum, 2 with that walk to Pina.

I wish Hader could locate that slider down and in to righties like a mini Randy Johnson. Still time to work on it so young and talented. Currently my favorite brewer.
