    Sorry to be nerdy, but: Episcopos is Greek from 'epi' meaning 'over' and scope 'meaning 'to see'. It liteally means 'over see'. The Latin word 'Bishop' comes from this, as a bishop is an overseer of the church. So we have a Bishop (Letson), and Episcope. And a Priest(er).
