  1. Very doubtful Dozier is coming here. I think people need to get that off of their minds; the center infield is set. Cant imagine doziers price being very high anymore, though. Some contender will get him, I cant imagine who
  2. I'm much more open to the Archer trade than the Realmuto trade. The Archer trade is selling low on a couple spare parts, the big prize for them being Peralta. They are relatively weak in the outfield and could value Houser as a good piece for their radical pitching experiment. The Realmuto trade offers 5 very good prospects, all between 50 and 55 with varying upsides. I could see both sides not liking this. Miami isn't getting a headliner, and the Brewers are giving up a ton of depth and solid prospects for 1 player. I disagree with this perspective. I don't want Archer because I think he's overvalued by some, especially the Rays. He's good, but he isn't a true TOR starter, so even though the haul for Tampa is lower, I still would prefer to take Realmuto. I'd also do that trade in a heartbeat if we were able to. You take one of the weakest spots in the lineup, and transform it into one of, if not the, best players at his position in baseball. It would be a sky high upgrade, and you have him controlled for a long period of time.
  3. How do we really know that degrom or Syndergaard are actually available? Reporters can make claims, which may be totally false, just to drum up excitement. That being said, if they are actually available, I'm all for it. They're great pitchers with control. Most of your prospects won't end up panning out into anything. Sell high on some guys and get a proven player. Archer I'm not interested in, I'll pass.
  4. I'm a partial season seat holder and cant make it to this game. These tickets are club level with wait service. Section 337, row 1, seats 1 and 2. Looking to get $100 for both. No parking pass, live in west allis area. Can meet up with you wherever
  5. Seems to me that multiple moves like that would end up clearing a good chunk of the farm out. Shaws value can't be that high to the point where he can be a centerpiece of a trade for Archer. I'm more hoping they end up trading Thames..
  6. I think what I'm most concerned about is that people are okay with Thames playing RF regularly. He is not an outfielder, and some suggesting Shaw playing LF is ridiculous. We need to trade Thames for something, anything. Hopefully pair him with some package of prospects for some starting pitching, and I'll be happy. CF: Cain RF: Yelich 1B: Aguilar 3B: Moose 2B: Shaw LF: Braun C: (hopefully Nottingham, or someone better like JT Realmuto, who would be higher in the lineup) SS: (hopefully someone better than Arcia) P Would be my normal batting order
  7. Also, does anyone get annoyed with how many times counsell says "uhh," or "umm" in his press conferences? No? Maybe it's just me..
  8. Anyone else frustrated that kratz keeps playing as much as he does? I'd rather see Nottingham, and I dont think I really care if kratz is even on the roster or minors at all
  9. Well, in my opinion, he is being undervalued by some as well. And for those that believe he is overvalued, it isn’t like it is just solely the fan base that is high on him right now: BP Mid-Season Top 50 Edit: For the record I wouldn’t even rank him nearly as high as BP just did, but I also wouldn’t bet against him developing into a good major league hitter. I dont think anybody was attempting to say he wouldn't be a good baseball player in the future. Just that hiura does not equal moancada, and Peralta does not equal kopech in trade value. Just was making the point that you shouldn't expect as big of a haul for those 2
  10. As a previous poster in one of these quotes mentioned, we, like most fanbases, tend to value our prospects way higher than their likely outcome. Keston Hiura does not have the potential that Yoan Moncada has. Yes, Moncada is having a down year, but I'm pretty sure every high level exec would think his potential is higher. Also, Peralta is not Kopech, it's not an equal trade. Sale is a better pitcher, but the Mets are going to be looking for a higher price than what we'd be hoping for.
  11. I'm not sure where to find this stat, but I feel like, just based off my watching them, the Brewers hitters take more 1st pitch strikes than most other teams in MLB, which ultimately will lead to their massive strikeout totals. That is a coaching strategy, being told to look to take the 1st pitch, by their hitting coach. There needs to be a new ideology put in place for these hitters to get their heads in a new place. Coles needs to go
  12. I think one of my main moves would be to fire Darnell Coles
  13. Not sure what pitch Yelich is looking for there. Gotta take the bat off your shoulders...
  14. Ugh, is it just me, or does anyone else really not want to give up Peralta after watching him in the bigs a few times?
  15. For both, probably all 10 of your top 10 prospects
