  1. Been a follower for years and I jump in on draft stuff and trade stuff from time to time.. But thanks
  2. Some teams use the interviews to throw other teams off there guys some dont. Basically the only team that adheres to RAS more is the saints. Yosh wasn't drafted by them but ok. Using the metrics for receiver that Gutey apparently has there was only like 5 draftable receivers last year so normally getting attached to any receiver outside the metric is pointless, but this year might change even though i'll believe it when I see it
  3. I feel ya.. It's just more of he has a type.. Like Stearns with his thing for up the middle guys
  4. I'm going to save everyone some time, and maybe ruin the fun when it comes to the draft.. Gutey telegraphs his draft strategy for the most part. 1- If they bring you in for a meeting(now virtual) that means if you are there at a pick in there value range they will prolly pick you.. In the previous 3 drafts there has been only 6 players picked they didn't interview.. This is a Ted Thompson thing 2-The only position that RAS scores do not seem to apply to is OL.. Otherwise basically everyone they draft has a score of 7.0 or above and everyone has been above a 6.0 3-When it comes to OL, position versatility is a must!! Hanson from last year is the only guy that played 1 spot in his whole career.. This is a Ted Thompson trait that Lafluer seems to have come in wanting anyway 4-WR prospects are all 6'2"+ with a large catch radius. R Moore is the 1st guy I've seen them connected to since Gutey took over that doesn't meet that requirement, Lafluer is apparently getting some sway there So far the only 1st round pick valued guys they have interviewed are R.Moore, T.Jenkins and A.Samuel Jr
  5. R.Weathers,T.Marcano,O.Cruz and/or L.Bachar Weathers is a good young pitcher that fits their profile as well as Cruz. Marcano is a middle infielder that kind of fits their profile minus power and Bachar is form Wisconsin so it gives people something to root for lol
  6. Exactly.. The idea is to spread payroll around more. The franchise lost 2.5+/- million people attending games and spending money and 100+games of tv advertising revenue. I'm sure ownership would be stoked to get closer to 60 mil in payroll. Even if we get a full season with full attendance the franchise will be taking a huge L over the 2 seasons. I'm 99% sure there is interior regret or at least concern in extending Yelich at this point
  7. Maybe you use Hader to get out of Cains contract. Use Haders A/A player/contract and Cains B-/D- player/contract to get a few mlb players and prospects to spread the salary around a bit... Which would make the Mets a perfect fit with the new ownership.. Matz, Betancces W/ Batty or Vientos,Scupacki and I Greene
  8. I myself have been taking a long look at the Angels as a strong possibility for the exact reasons that you state above
  9. I like Marsh also but he seems to be an injury risk
  10. How about to the Angels for R.Deitmers, J.Adams, J.Jackson and K.Paris.. Stearns gets to do his usual up the middle approach with a good young pitcher and the Angels get more help for Trout at a reasonable cost
  11. Campusano,Patino and PTBNL
  12. Everyone should assume we will not be taking on any major salary this year and most likely next year due to lost revenue. It seems like every team will be doing it this year especially, outside of maybe teams like the Dodgers and Yankees. Save yourself the heartburn and expect selling, with Hader being the most expensive outgoing possible piece
  13. I never really thought through the seattle... I was under the impression that the only players teams are able to trade are on the 60 man expanded mlb roster?
  14. How about Hader to the Mariners for L.Gilbert,N.Marte,C.Raleigh and A.shenton or to the Padres for L.Patino,L.Campusano,T.Trammel and G.Arias
