  1. Yep. The question is whether it can be fixed.
  2. When Chafin is called to the mound, I'll be cheering as loud as anyone. But: 2022: 2.83 ERA in 30 games. 0.66 ERA in his first 14 appearances this season. These are Strez' numbers before he was sent down. If I'm the Diamondbacks, I like the possibilities.
  3. Hard facts.
  4. At least it shows the Brewers are going for the playoffs this year. I'm up for that.
  5. Except that Strz has shown he can be highly effective at the MLB level. Those kinds of guys aren't just strolling around Brady Street. He might never be back again, but then again, he might become a mighty force.
  6. I don't think so, but the consensus here is otherwise.
  7. That's not a piece of information that increases optimism, but let's hope for the best. Chris Hook has been effective.
  8. If you say so, but his numbers are inspiring no heavenly chorus. 4.19 ERA over 34.1 innings 1.42 WHIP.
  9. Not seeing a huge upgrade here.
  10. He does look like he taking a good whack at a piñata.
  11. Burnes was at 95 pitches and had given us 6 good innings while struggling some with his command. I think his night was done. I hope our incredible bullpen run will get back on track. It's let us down the last couple of games.
  12. We were swept by Oakland and we’re fighting for the division. How many years were we just mid-pack fodder, not playing meaningful games in September. I remember those years all too well.
  13. He’s at 86 or 87. He might complete 6 for a quality start. A good pitcher gets through when his stuff isn’t 100 percent.
  14. It’s not a “perfect bunt” if it goes foul.
  15. Caratini knew where to go with that one.
  16. We really got socked in the mouth. Time to get back and get better so we're ready when we see Atlanta again in the playoffs.
