On the slow motion, his technique looked good. He just missed it unfortunately.

He's swinging at too many pitches off the outside of the plate. He can't seem to help himself. So of course now he sees a bunch of them every game.

He's not nearly as funny as he thinks he is. It grates after a while (a short while).

I agree. We need someone who'll be with us all season, someone who doesn't think that everything that goes through his head is funny or entertaining.

The only thing I can figure is he was burned earlier in the year diving for a ball and missing, and was told not to do that.
