  1. Whoever mentioned coverage of the Minor Leagues: Yes! I could easily drive to Biloxi to see the Shuckers and spend a night at a nice hotel while my wife gambles away my pension. JK, she's cool; its her mother (of blessed memory) who could gamble away a pension, and tried to.
  2. Do NOT encourage Trego! Well, yeah, go ahead.
  3. I'm still a real newbie around here with no connection to Milwaukee, except maybe stopping at the airpoirt decades ago. And I may not hit every IGT as much as I'd like. But I really like this forum. (It's not like there's a bunch of Brewer fans hanging out in New Orleans to gripe with.) The threads are never too hostile, and I can even learn from the stat nerds who speak a language that is still foreign to me. I'm glad to pay to avoid the ads, because they really interupted the flow, esp. on my phone. Well done. Carry on. Thanks. Oh yeah: even if I miss the thread during the game, I like to read what people were thinking while the game was being played.
  4. Horrible poetry! ... In the most beautiful way! 😁😄 Carry on.
  5. YEAH! Because I think the Yankees just scored another run against us while they were on the plane. BaDump-Bump 😕 Bughghghghgh... 🤨 Let's GO!
  6. Welp... I finally actually saw the Judge interference play. It looked like OBVIOUS interference, because his arm was straight up to an unusual and even awkward degree. So let the talking heads yap away, and I hope the ump gets ripped for idiocy or proNY bias and Judge get blasted for cheating. That said... it's STILL no excuse for giving up so many more runs. The End, for today.
  7. Last season, I reckoned we could win 80+% of games if we scored at least 5 runs. Lately, 5 runs are not even cosmetic. OK. I'm done b!tch!ng. Bring on the Rays!
  8. I used to could throw a decent knuckleball and screwball in the New Orleans lawyers' overhand slow-pitch softball league (c. 1990-something 😕 ).
  9. Yeah. Bad call. Really bad. Those happen. But that craphouse ump did not walk the next 19 batters. Just a pathetic showing by the team. No excuses.
  10. That was a disgrace. SHAME. If this pitching keeps up.... move over, White Sox, we're comin' down! <sobs hysterically>
  11. HEAR HIM!!! It's the (lack of) pitching. Uribe stunk up the joint. Dreadful.
  12. I'll go away now. The charade is over: WE CANNOT PITCH. Uribe was awful, bad and awful, and bad, and awful. Now Judge will hit it out. Bughghghghghghgh!
  13. Great win. Nice recovery for a split! And (pedantry alert!) it's Wiemer. Under German pronunciation rules, Weimer would be pronounced WHY-mer. (Actually VYE-mer, but let's not get carried away.) You're welcome!! 😁😶
  14. I confess that I was hoping they'd send him. Alas. Didn't work.
  15. Just when I was ready to throw the radio (i.e., my phone) out the back door. YAY. Let's hang on. Oh wait. leadoff double. Bughghghghgh!
  16. That play works in highschool girls softball.... sometimes. Incredibly dumb.
  17. Glad to be watching the game on ESPN+ after having a stupid argument with my eldest daughter. It will be OK if some one else tells me I'm full of S#1+. bughghghghgh!
  18. Happy family obligations have kept me away from here for the first game or so. But I must say that I'm amazed in a really good way!
  19. Even before I knew BA was associated with the Brewers, I thought he was great play-by-play guy: He always seemed to be excited without being melodramatic; he usually didn't say too much; and he has the perfect voice timbre for a baseball announcer,
