  1. Don't love the slump, too early to panic. I can't remember a time we lost 5 in a row last year?
  2. I am a little worried about our bargain bin approach to our offense. I mean does any team in the MLB fear our 5-9 hitters?
  3. Being a Brewers fan during free agency is like being a kid excited for Christmas and getting a really useful belt. Its not flashy or fun, but it keeps the pants up. Problem is that's all it does.
  4. Dude I grew up loving Paul Molitor. He was my hero. He was my favorite of all time. But a deeper dive into his personal life gives me pause. This was a revelation. So disappointed. I am so conflicted. On one hand you have "The Ignitor" my favorite player of all time, and on the other hand you have the guy who could not keep his marriage together. I have no forgiveness for folks who cheat on their spouses.
  5. Do or die time for the M's. I am pulling for them.
  6. Dude it's not a copout it's just what happened. We literally just scored one run in our last four games. I did not come here to brag.....that's a weird flex. I want what is best for our team.
  7. We do not know what Suarez could have done here. It's water under the bridge now.. But we knew we needed more pop. We stood pat with a third of our lineup being useless.
  8. Just to be clear, when I actually stepped out and posted on this forum it was because I thought we should have been more aggressive and signed Suarez. How does that look now? I was destroyed back then by folks who thought we were fine, I knew we were not.
  9. I bet it's Woodruff, Priester, Miz, Henderson, Patrick I bet we trade Freddy.
  10. I just want to say a couple of things... 1. I have lurked on these boards for years but never really posted till this year. I have enjoyed the interaction here a great deal and it has really made this season more unforgettable. 2. I more than ever believe in this franchise. I am totally down and out right now, but I am at least optimistic about future. Only about 5 teams can feel that way, and we are one of them.
  11. I hope so, I am feeling pretty down now. I pray I have to retract.
  12. Brewers groundhog day scenario... 1. Get Picked to finish third in division and miss playoffs 2. Surprise the experts by playing "over our heads" 3. Make no significant trade for offensive help at the deadline, in spite of the "deep minor league" 4. Suddenly can't hit in a playoff series 5. Season ends 6. Every great Brewers player is rumored to be traded. 7. Brewers trade one of them for a couple of prospects, or they let a quality player go in FA 8. Brewers major FA acquisition is someone else's platoon player. And another mid relief guy. 9. But the future is bright! 10....and repeat. Sorry boys, in a dark place. I am jut posting my dark thoughts hoping we spring back. I really pray that we can break out of this and comeback.
  13. Meh, I live out of market. I think that makes a difference, I grew up with Cubs fans too. They are obnoxious when they win, quiet when they lose.
  14. The best part about this for me, is I get to tell my youngest son with special needs named Brewer, that his team won. Yes my wife let me name my third son after my favorite baseball team. Of course he could give a crap, unless we win. He's downstairs watching Descendants 2.
  15. Last year in this situation I went to the market so I would not have to watch.....we lost. I am staying this year. I have got you guys.
