  1. I just think a lineup which includes Vaughn, Bauer's, Yelich is best. This should be an everyday team. I still think we should trade a pitching prospect for another bat. Lets get away from the Ortiz, Hamilton, Renfigo, Mitchell back half of our order. One or two lame bats at 8 and 9 are fine but when we go into games with 7,8,9 being suspect we are never going to go anywhere.
  2. I still think Vaughn should not be a platoon player. We need to get his bat in the lineup every day.
  3. I know it might not last but if this is the Bauer's we are going to get this season, we have to find a way to play him, Vaughn, and Yelich most days. Those three guys hitting 4,5,,6 makes this lineup feel more deadly. Now if we can get Sal hot again? A Vaughn/Bauer's platoon seems ridiculous. Play both.
  4. Just got back home from a show.....So satisfying to win a series against The Yankees. They are all things evil to me.
  5. I did not get to listen to the whole game tonight, I was following on ESPN game tracker. All I know is Miz had no hitter and then Ashby was in.......what happened?
  6. Yep I was in college, I thought that was our last grasp with Moli and Yount. I was honestly happy for 'The Ignitor" that he had the finish to his career like he did in Toronto. He literally cemented his HOF legacy in Toronto. He did most of the work in MWK, but that Toronto career cemented the first ballot status.
  7. I get having one defensive specialists on the roster taking almost one automatic out, but four?
  8. Dude no offense but the amount of times Ortiz comes up with bases loaded is hilarious. Do you actually listen or watch the games? This is a narrative that is true. I don't post often but I listen to about every game year in and year out. He did it again tonight.
  9. Part of me thinks that we should just bring up the kids and let them take their hard knocks. It would be better than enduring a season of Ortiz, Perkins Rengifo, and Lockridge
  10. Uribe was always the closer in waiting, but he has been really bad this season. In fact Ashby has too......Good gosh this team that always traded for relievers at the trade deadline instead of bats finds themselves lacking both. I understand we have a wealth of minor league talent. But it just seems we are missing our chance here. We will wait until our minor league talent comes up and we will be in the exact same position in five years. We need to actually loosen up the purse springs and give us more offense than Gary Sanchez. Until then how many times will we have to watch Ortiz cost us a game with bases loaded?
  11. Murph defending Magill like he was his first born son.
  12. Ortiz should be playing in Nashville tomorrow. I mean I am seroious this is getting ridiculous. He's such an offensive liability.
  13. 6 in a row.?.......wow. Been a long time. I guess we are now a team who fights to get into the playoff's. As opposed to a team that always went to the playoff and lost because our millionaire owners would not pay for more offense. Story old as time.....our ownership is content with Lockridge, Ortiz, etc......
  14. I frustrates me.....we could actually shore up our team by spending a little money........but no. So I get it's crazy that we are now 9- down.
  15. The amount of times Ortiz has failed in bases loaded situations is bizarre......I mean it's almost like he made a deal for eternal life as long as he struggled while hitting with bases loaded.
  16. Why is Ortiz still on this roster? I mean bring up Made at 19 years old.
  17. I literally hate Joey Ortiz.......unless he does something now.
