  4. From June 1st - 24th, LHP Bryan Hudson had eight of nine outings scoreless with AAA Nashville. But in his last two appearances, 1.2 IP, 6 H, 9 R, 3 BB.
  5. "Birchard walked the next batter to load the bases before getting the second out of the frame on a flyout to center with the runners holding their spots. However, that was Birchard’s 35th pitch of the inning and 49th of the game. Wisconsin went to the bullpen for Jack Seppings to try to get out of the frame." I contend that's got to be one of the toughest situations for a reliever, most likely with insufficient time to prepare - a manager can't easily foresee a starter inning pitch count buildup in time to get an arm properly ready. As the game summary and box score reveals, it all led to a 23rd birthday outing that Seppings will wish to forget.
  6. Five perfect innings for 17-year-old Colombian RHP Carlos Galindo in his start for DSL Blue today. Hopefully inspires his countryman Jose Quintana tonight. Another 17-year-old, second baseman Leonard Rijo, was a home run shy of a cycle. Blue romped, 10-2. *** Brewers Gold fell 6-3, committing four errors and a passed ball along the way.
  7. Nashville Press Release: The Milwaukee Brewers have announced the following moves that impact the Nashville Sounds Roster: ADD: RHP Coleman Crow reinstated from Injured List RHP Craig Yoho optioned to Nashville REMOVE: OF Blake Perkins returned to Milwaukee from rehab RHP Sam McWilliams released The Nashville Sounds roster currently sits at 27 active + 2 MLB Rehab + 1 Injured List + 1 Temporary Inactive List + 1 Development List *** Regarding Perkins:
  8. RHP Sam McWilliams - The 6'7", 230 lb. reliever turns 30 in September. In 17 appearances in 2025 limited to just 19 innings, McWilliams has posted a rough 1.84 WHIP. *** Released on 7/3, and removed from the initial post on this list. Good luck moving forward to McWilliams, yet to see MLB action.

Tuesday 7/1: VIDEO via MLB Network's "MLB Central": "Brice Turang takes a look at his defense, baserunning and hitting with Chris Young and Carlos Peña" Via WTMJ's Morning News (download link): Pat Murphy Via the Journal Sentinel Podcast: "The Brewers are sitting in a playoff spot and just two games out of first place in the National League Central, even after a gut-punch loss Sunday. That's because the team won four of its other five games during the week, continuing a trend of red-hot Brewers baseball. Brewers beat reporter Todd Rosiak catches up with host JR Radcliffe about the past week (after our regularly scheduled episode focused on the minors). They discuss Miz vs. Skenes, Joey Ortiz back in a groove, Anthony Seigler, bullpen concerns, the pending return of Brandon Woodruff, Quinn Priester on absolute fire and who might be the team's All-Star." Via the "Cold Brew Podcast": "Dave Gasper and Matt Carroll of Athlon Sports break down the latest with the Brewers including their hot month of June that had big time improvements from Joey Ortiz and Caleb Durbin. Also, The Matchup between Jacob Misiorowski and Paul Skenes lived up to the billing, what's next for Miz? Plus, if you could extend one of Sal Frelick or Brice Turang, who would you pick? Dave and Matt can't seem to agree."
