  1. I would say Errecart is a solid pick in round 5. I believe he performed well last summer in the Cape Cod league.
  2. I hope Brent Brewer does not = Josh Murray. Cole Gillespie is a solid pick in my mind, but probably a round early.
  3. Where does Brewer stand on some of the top 100-200 charts?
  4. Jack Z. has never drafted a college pitcher in the first two rounds (10 picks) in the six years as Brewer Scouting Director. Will this end this year?
  5. Colby and others, which draftees are likely to be DFE's?
  6. Colby...sorry for the absence http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif I believe the Brewers have had a great offseason, I look forward to hearing who is picked #5 overall. I agree that it is discouraging the Greene picked Boras and I somewhat hope that Clement falls to us. I believe that HS talents like Upton and Maybin will definitely be gone. After that, I don't know.
  7. If the Brewers sign Miller prior to the arbitration deadline, he will more than likely cost them their second round pick? As a draftnik, I don't like to lose high picks, but keep in mind it may free up second round money to spend on a "tough sign" drafted later in day one or in day two of the draft.
  8. I think that BA's top five match up well with Brewer needs. Upton, Maybin, Gordon, Clement, or Greene could all be great additions to the MIL organization. Something of note, I believe Greene did play some third base for Team USA. It will be another interesting draft for the Brewers.
  9. Colby...great recap. It will definitely be interesting to see how the dfe's do next spring. It will also be interesting to watch the top prospects. Alex Gordon obviously fills an area of need and will be one that the Brewers will be watching.
  10. Albers has enrolled and is attending classes at the University of Kentucky. He is a canuck that has gotten away.
  11. Who are the Brewer dfe's and who are the ones that got away?
  12. The real impressive thing with the five runs is that all of them came with two outs.
  13. Sheets to be on today with 20 of his first 28 pitches being strikes.
  14. I can't believe that Brady Clark strikes fear into a pitcher enough to intentionally walk him.
  15. Colby, with the Brewers free-falling, who are the top prospects in the 2005 draft?
