  1. I get that it doesn't matter at this point...but I've been wondering if the NLCS might have played out differently, had the Brewers gotten a clutch hit in the 8th inning of game 3 in the NLDS in Chicago, and swept that series.
  2. Amen. I had the exact same thought.
  3. Can someone enlighten me and explain the whole "opener" thing?? Why not just start Miz today??
  4. Excited to be there tonight! Let's go Crew!
  5. Fair enough. I'm new around these parts....
  6. Let me say up front, that I'm not advocating for or against this, I'm just sharing. Yesterday on Twitter, Trevor Bauer stated that he'd sign with any MLB team, for the league minimum.
  7. Yes, this is still true.
  8. As a native of Phoenix.....let me just say....I totally agree with your comments about Phoenix.
  9. Reds / Indians is definitely the most remote. As OWBC said, the Royals / Rangers is farther out than the Padres / Mariners (Peoria Sports Complex). At least Peoria has a ton of restaurants within walking distance of the stadium. That's not the case for the other two I just mentioned.
  10. I am. But of course, I live in the Phx area.
  11. I am an acquaintance of a guy who is a low level coach in MLB. These guys move around a lot, and will jump at any chance to sign a contract with any team. Esp this time of year and esp during times of uncertainty. They don't get paid much and they have families. If they're offered a contract, they typically jump to sign it.
  12. Ugh. Total punch to the gut.
