  1. No. I will probably be using the ignore button more often though. I don't come to a Brewers game thread to get updates on the Cub score every 3rd post. Guess that's what the ignore button is for.
  2. Who. Cares. Sooooooo tired of the breathless updates on the Cubs schedule or their games.
  3. Because **** happens with baseball. There's also a chance that Uribe gets out of the inning without giving up a run if they got that called strike 3 from the 1B umpire.
  4. Pathetic from the crew chief to try to follow Murphy into the dugout after the ejection. Don't like something Murphy said? File a report. Don't think he left the field timely? File a report. Good umps don't prolong delays or heighten conflict with a manager who's been ejected. Unprofessional and pathetic. I'm assuming the Phillies challenge will be overturned because it seems unlikely that they got any calls right after the umps got into their feelings.
  5. Some also act like every time the Brewers lose the Cubs are about to take the division lead. Just relax.
  6. Yeah, and if they win both a bunch of people will say the exact same thing a week later the day after a loss.
  7. If Woodruff can stand on the mound and move his arm they're going to give him a start in the playoffs. Just me maybe but I'm not worried about the starters.
  8. Couple of chances now to put the Phillies back on the ropes after they started to close the gap. Happy they got 1 anyway.
  9. It's a Bad Mears day. :( Lineup needed more than 1 run out of that 4th inning against a team like the Phillies.
  10. FWIW, and it's not worth much, I'm not really worried about the starting pitching in the playoffs at all. I AM worried about the lineup in the playoffs, which is partly rational and partly a reaction to the fact that the Brewers haven't hit well in the playoffs for years.
  11. Looking increasingly likely that he'll stay in the rotation until the playoffs (or at least until the Brewers start playing meaningless games). We'll see I guess, now that they're in a stretch where they will actually have a reasonable number of off days.
  12. Wouldn't have bet on getting out of that 5-3. Great job by Ashby, particularly against Schwarber.
  13. Came and got him one hitter too late? Still better than waiting until it was tied I suppose.
