  1. With the trade deadline coming up, the Brewers are in a good spot overall, but there are still a few areas that need to be addressed. Even with how well they’ve played lately, injuries and some clear gaps have started to show. The front office has some decisions to make, and while a big move is always exciting, history says they’ll probably go the quieter route—and honestly, that might be what works best.

  3. When the Brewers dealt away their All-Star closer, Devin Williams, most figured the bullpen would struggle, but instead, it quietly became one of the best in baseball. Led by Trevor Megill, Nick Mears, and Abner Uribe, Milwaukee’s relievers are a collection of overlooked arms and redemption projects, stitched together with smart scouting and elite development. They aren’t household names, but they’re effective—and if the Brewers make another postseason run, this group might just be the reason why.

  5. In just his second MLB start, Jacob Misiorowski took a perfect game into the 7th inning, he's topped out at 103 mph, and leaves hitters looking helpless. Although he’s always been a top prospect, it wasn’t always like this. Drafted out of a small community college with electric stuff but shaky control, the Brewers looked at him in the bullpen nearing the end of the 2024 season. How did one high-risk project end up being one of the most exciting young pitchers in baseball?

  7. Freddy Peralta is having one of the best seasons of his career, boasting a 2.60 ERA, high strikeout totals, and affordable contract control through 2026. But with the Brewers' recent track record of dealing stars while still competing, his name could end up floating in trade talks as we get closer to the deadline. Will Milwaukee push for the playoffs or flip their ace for a huge prospect haul? The next few weeks will tell us.

  9. When the 2025 season kicked off, it felt like the Brewers’ rotation was barely hanging on — injuries everywhere, and things looked rough. But now, just two months in, that same group has quietly turned into one of the most reliable rotations in baseball. Freddy Peralta held things down, and guys like Chad Patrick, Logan Henderson, and Quinn Priester stepped up when nobody really expected them to. And the best part? Reinforcements are still on the way. How’d this all happen so fast? It wasn’t an accident.

  11. As May wraps up, two Brewers starters, Chad Patrick and Logan Henderson, are quietly making noise in the NL Rookie of the Year race. Neither came in with hype, but both are forcing their way into the conversation with some very solid outings. One’s been steady, the other dominant. The rookie field isn’t stacked this year, so if there’s a chance to sneak in and steal the award, now’s the time. We’ll break down what they’ve done and whether one of these under-the-radar pitchers could actually pull it off.

  13. The Brewers’ left side of the infield has been a clear weak spot all season. Early on, there was hope that someone like Oliver Dunn or Caleb Durbin could step up at third, but that hasn’t worked out. Shortstop hasn’t been any better, with Joey Ortiz statistically being the worst hitter in baseball. The organization has a couple of internal options in Nashville, but they come with concerns; either they haven’t played much third recently, or haven’t proven themselves. The farm system has talent, but nobody’s quite ready yet, which puts pressure on the front office to explore the trade market. Rather than going after big-name stars, the Brewers could target former top prospects or under-the-radar players who may need a change of scenery.

  15. The Brewers always seem to have an arm step up in their bullpen and this year’s no different. While plenty of guys have been solid, Nick Mears has quietly become one the most important arm in the bullpen. Some fans predicted a breakout, no one saw him having numbers this good. He’s been nearly untouchable so far in 2025, with a microscopic ERA and barely letting anyone on base. And it’s not just empty stats—he’s been nails in high leverage moments, getting out of big jams and protecting leads. His path to Milwaukee hasn’t exactly been smooth. He wasn’t drafted, bounced around a few teams, and honestly looked like just another guy at first. But something clicked, and now he’s dropped the curveball that was getting crushed and simplified his approach—just fastballs and sliders. It’s working. In a bullpen full of firepower, Mears has quietly become the steady hand. Outside of Milwaukee, most fans probably still don’t know his name—but if the Brewers make a serious run, he’s going to be a big reason why.

  17. Joey Ortiz hasn’t found his swing yet this season, but given his profile and the Brewers’ youth movement, this slow start might be more expected than it seems. Joey Ortiz’s first month as the Brewers’ starting shortstop hasn’t gone how anyone hoped. He’s batting under .200, hasn’t shown any power, and the strikeouts are piling up. But if you’ve followed his track record, this isn’t totally unexpected. Ortiz was always known more for his glove than his bat, and stepping into Willy Adames’ shoes, while carrying the weight of being the return for Corbin Burnes, is no small task. The defense is there, and that’s kept him in the lineup. The Brewers are clearly committed to giving their young guys a shot, and Ortiz still fits that long-term vision. Fans are right to be frustrated, but it’s early.

  19. Quinn Priester and Chad Patrick have shown up early for the Brewers with an injury-hindered rotation. Priester, a former first-round pick, has had some moments of brilliance amid the ongoing command issues, while Chad Patrick has screamed excellent control and poise after thriving in Triple-A. Statistically, these two may not stand the test of time but have already made an impact when the team needed them, giving Milwaukee some solid depth and future potential.

  21. Some might only be paying attention to the top prospects in the organization but we may all need to keep an eye on these players after their starts to the season. For example, a player like Josh Adamczewski isn’t a top 50 Brewers prospect to some, yet he may be off the best start out of everybody. Of course Craig Yoho and Jacob Misiorowski are doing what they always do but let’s also focus on the guys who don’t always get the national spotlight.

  23. Brice Turang has come out on fire in 2025. He’s opened the season with a ten game hitting streak, already has two homers (second most on the team), and is getting on base at a higher rate than last year. Giving him a great chance to break last year’s mark of 50 stolen bases, third in MLB. The defense is still elite as always, the bat was the biggest question, but if he keeps hitting like this, Turang’s not just a key piece, he’s an All-Star in the making.

  25. The Brewers may not be World Series favorites, but they’re built to win. With six playoff appearances in the last seven years, they know how to get there, and in a weaker NL Central, 90 wins (or less) could do the trick. Their rotation is playoff-ready, featuring Nestor Cortes’ experience, Jose Quintana’s October dominance, and a potential ace in a healthy Brandon Woodruff. The lineup packs plenty of punch with William Contreras, Rhys Hoskins, and a breakout threat in Jackson Chourio, while Christian Yelich could be an MVP force if he stays healthy. Add in elite defense from Brice Turang and Sal Frelick, and the Brewers have everything they need to make a serious run.
