  1. reason #70 I hate the cardinals is that stupid tunnel right behind home plate. having to watch constant interruptions just over the umpires head. I'm sure it's all you can eat, but good lord. the staff can't keep up with the "fans" shoveling food in their gullets the entire game. I think it was last year, I watched a lady rest an ice cream Sunday on her gut as she ate it I like to see real fans in the background and their reactions to the game. ::edit:: busch doens't have a tunnel, but it's still seems like constant table service in the background. i'll have to think about the stadium that has the tunnel with the middle aged waitress trying to collect herself while there's a 3-2 count pitch coming
  2. how does that work for rich people? I imagine like ol' dirty bas&ard rolling up in a limo for his food stamps lol
  3. it's unbelievable how soft and whiny people are these days. I always assume the mass posters on here do "journalism" for their local high school teams. you know, real insiders to the sport
  4. Miz is going to been on "baseball tonight with buster olney" shortly
  5. I like playing every team, every year. what I don't like is that it leaves gaps in division and in league games that can seem unfair. teams have such ups and downs throughout a year that the division games at least need some sort of intentional spreading out. not to defend them, but I think we swept the dodgers last year solely because we played all six games in such a tight time period. we were hot, they were cold(or just taking it easy until the playoffs) 5 division games played by mid May is ridiculous
  6. bernie's on the IL too I would never have noticed. we've hit so few hr's this year
  7. there's no bobbling or jiggling going on with all the work that thing has had "done"
  8. when someone has half a dozen wrong in a row, then i'll care/even notice what are your major league stats?
  9. It's about time. feels like they've been pretty unlucky on BABIP so far this year. especially with this team relying on "pecking"
  10. I realize they're professionals and the best of the best, but they're human dude whether or not their decisions are based on pure emotion
  11. nice we've only been shut out twice this year. even with the fewest total bases in the mlb
