I had a good friend jump on the Sox bandwagon in '03-'04. I'll never not root against them
just a few of my completely biased and uninformed observations
*it feels like opposing hitters have been unusually patient against us
*we've had a lot of bad luck on hard hit balls(until the last few games, when we just don't hit anything)
an argument could be made that participating in these events is worth it for the experience and confidence it can give athletes. young and old
maybe a taste of success will instill a career long "drive" in guys to find it again
