It's almost a must-win game. If we lose tonight and the Cubs are only back 4, and Phillies 1 if they win tonight.

There is less than a 1% chance they win the division. We are really just coming here to chat, and, wait for the playoffs. Fact, Cubs aren't our concern now, but will be 2nd week in Oct. That's when they dispatch the Padres at Wrigley, then come here with fire in their eyes. That's what folks should be talking about, they're not done at all. They will be back !!

Cubs pitching has been top-notch since the All-Star break. Pirates go 3 hits yesterday, and 4 today - 7 total. Hard to beat pitching like that even with their offense slumping.

Now let's rest our guys, get focused, and get ready to turn that switch back on. Cubs may not win the division, but they're not done with us just yet. They will dispatch the Padres at Wrigley, then they will come here looking win both the 2025 Season & Playoff series against us. We need to prepare if we want to get to the NLCS.
