the fact that yost let no reliever to warm up in the bottom of the 9th is inexusable. Turnbow can't do 2 innings, and to leave him out there for the 10th, made a loss unaviodable. -

this team is starting to do this to me for the fourth time this season....great win today though, and hopefully we can have a decent road trip. Cincy is off today but we can gain on st louis tonite against the mets.

he has been fine in less pressure situation, but when he comes in a game tied or when we are up by a run or two, he seems to loose it.

while mench has not impressed me much, coco has been the man. great win, I enjoy the though that the cubs fans have to return to illinois after a loss and sit in traffic for the rest of the afternoon.

i can't contribute much to the IGT because after we fell behind 5-0 I decided I was taking the rest of the game off and watched Field of Dreams. I think a good move on my part.

i am sure we wont know for a few days. They will probably do tests when they return. Tightness in the pec could mean he could return IMO, but i am in no way doctor and when he jsut came off the dl, it could be the season too

good start today.. we need to take one more in this series though. Coco was impressive and bow pitches well tonite.

I hope Jenks gets a day off. Give Hart or Gabe the start in right. I also would like to see Billy starting to bat in the 5 spot. I know he strikes out too much for 2 or 3, but 5 is a decent spot for him, OF the 3 games, this one worries me the most (considering who we are playing though they all worry me though)

even if we come back and win this game, it should be obvious to melvin that we are not in this race. I won't give up on this team, but we need to face it the playoffs aren't happening. i can see the IGT today become more of a venting thread.

should be out by 6 let me guess weeks cirillo jenkins lee prince hall miller clark davis i would rather have hart in for jenkins, but i don't see him getting 2 days off.

i think they are saying we are going to get another starter to pitch his next day in the rotation, now trade bush. now if he goes out for inning #2 there may be something to it
