naive questions because I never played OOTP before, but I didnt know you could get it for MACs so I am thinking about buying it. Is this a game where you play against the computer or do you set up leagues over the internet and compete with your friends. Is this game use real major leaguers or is it a fantasy league with made up players...thanks -

we definately will be more rested than the cards, since they got to play a night game travel home and get ready for a 3 oclock first pitch. Also in a new ball park, St Louis really wont know much how it plays so they lack that advantage too. If Ohka can repeat his performance on wednesday i like my chances.

i have had a blast at the last 2 long wong brewer events and plan to make it on the 14th, looking forward to meeting people from the site

id give it to prince, good defensively and offensively -
my 3 biggest concerns is prince and the depth of the bullpen. I think Prince will come out of it, and is just pressing. Once he learns he doesnt need to swing for the fence all the time he will be fine. Lehr and Wise has impressed me so far, I am worried about kolb de la rosa, and capellan in the pen. Finally while rickey did well at the plate, he still had a tough play in the field. I know the right side of the infield is young and is oging to struggle, but its still a concern

I will be watching the game from Long Wong's and am very excited just to see brewers baseball and am intrigued to get to see Fernandez pitch instead of just hearing him on the radio.

I know they picked up Arroyo this morning, but I still wonder why would you give up on a kid like Simpson. He pitched decent in the fall league, he was having a good spring and you let him loose....doesn't make sense to me...does anyone know anything about why he was let go

Just heard on the brewers radio network that we signed alan simpson and invited him to major league camp. from baseball prospectus the hard throwing right hander with perpetual control problems started the season in colorado, then was traded to the reds for jose acevedo and finished the minor league season in louisville before beign given the shot of expresso in the quenn city. He pitched ectremely well in the high profile, which puts a bullet next to his nade on the roster of a team like the reds with a pitching staff in flux. I am excited to see how Fernandez does in his start. I know its not the most experienced infield behind him, but a good start will do wonders for his bid to return to milwaukee in the beginning of april EDIT: plus another bad outing by moeller may put more pressure on him in his bid to make the team.

I think we are saving the fighting for the regular season. I think Ned can only use that word so many times a season before people are turned off by it.

interesting how bill and daron was talking about moeller not making the team possibly. I don't know if he is ready, but you love to see Rottino make the team out of spring. I think Moeller will actually make the team and of course if he doesnt I would assume Rivera would get the nod.

i know its super early, but I have been impressed with Cruz so far and he is definatley making a run at the 2 backup outfield jobs.

in the grand scmem 81 or 82 isnt really that different. It looks like we wont loose our 1st rd pick if melvin signs a class A free agent, so thats good. Pittsbugh is alone in the caterory of most consective loosing seasons. in the grand sceme of things, 81 wont mean much next season, since there are going to be higher expectations on this club. Although for people like the ones on this board, this means SO MUCH. We have struggling to get to 70 wins the last couple season. 2002 I feel was the lowest the team has ever been. For the first time in a while there is real promise with this club. Its going to be an awesome winter i think. Now we need to get to 82 and then we no longer have to be lumped with Pittsburgh as most consecutive loosing seasons.

I would like to see Nelson Cruz get some time in right that is more of late inning defensive replacement or mop up duty. I know Jenkins bat is still very good, but he is struggling in the field on plays that he would make when healty. This is not a typical brewer fan rant that goes (player x is washed up, he needs to be released ie Jenkins in the first half of the season). This is more of a I would like to see what Cruz can do, and Jenkins isnt 100%. rant.

this is painful to listen to. I say let glover take his spot in the rotation for the rest of the season.
