  1. He's got better overall career numbers Does he? If you look at the past three years, Davis has been far superior.
  2. Count me in as a huge fan of this lineup, although I would like Hall to hit a little higher, but in the long run that's not a very big deal.
  3. Should be a pretty favorable matchup for the Crew tonight. I'd like to see 'Rillo get a start over Bell, and although Clark has been playing awesome, I wouldn't mind a Gross start tonight with a side-winding righty on the mind.
  4. That's absurd, there's no other word to describe it.
  5. Mench is German for human and he looked it that AB. It's actually "mensch," but I like the thought. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  6. Wow, that was REALLY unfortunate. Prince absolutely smoked that ball.
  7. I thought Hall's hit was gone off the bat, but it was a pretty routine play at the warning track.
  8. Where are the "Cappy is our ace" supporters now?
  9. Sheets never pitches well in Colorado. So I don't mind not seeing him pitch here. It's really nice having five good pitchers in your rotation as opposed to three. I feel pretty confident with our starter (maybe not so much Davis) each and every game.
  10. Why is David Bell hitting ahead of Bill Hall? Does this make any sense?
  11. I agree with the sentiment on Match Point. Except I thought it was really really good. The first part of the movie was a little slow, but it had a purpose. And the last 20 minutes of the movie were great. Woody Allen hadn't made a movie this good since... well, Crime and Misdemeanors, a similar movie.
  12. This year already looks more promising. There's no need to even have 5 candidates for the Best Picture Oscar. There's only one movie that even deserves consideration, that of course being Snakes on a Plane. Anyone else excited for this movie? I know I am.
  13. Anyone surprised Helling went 1-2-3 there? I'm not.
  14. That was about as unquality of a start as you can get. And a 2.3 WHIP? Eww. Not to make it sound even more disappointing, but it's actually a 2.6 WHIP.
  15. Well that was a nice manufactured run.
  16. This looks like its going to be Cappy's third rough start in a row. Would you consider his last start rough, Joe? He went 6 2/3 and gave up 3 earnies and left with the lead. Also, it was in Cincy, a hitter's park. I don't consider that start bad by any means.
  17. Bill Hall has become the ultimate 2TO. Everything is a homer or a strikeout, I swear.
  18. The chat room came back, and Ambag is still there!
  19. Carlos Lee is really having one of the worst series I have ever seen. He hasn't hit one ball hard and is playing an atrocious left field.
  20. Barnwell is SUCH a terrible hitter. Thank goodness Phillips screwed that up.
  21. Wait, Corey Hart got another hit? Really? Wow, I can't believe it.
  22. Thank goodness for Brady Clark's speed. (that's supposed to be in blue, but I'm too lazy).
