    Don't be shocked if Florida becomes a thing. There's so much political and financial drama in the city of Phoenix currently that this is likely pretty low on their priority list to get a deal hammered out

    Hank needs to just go away. It was a great diversion during the Ryan Braun saga...but it's really been played out now. Unfortunately that won't happen because its drawn tons of female fans (let's be real they hold the checkbooks...) and it's generating them money via Hank branded merchandise

    Pretty much all of the Cactus League teams sell out at some point during March with the exception generally being the Brewers. Obviously the proximity to LA and San Francisco help skew some numbers in favor of the Dodgers,Angels and Giants...but the Brewers are known locally as the place to go if you want to enjoy a non crowded experience

    I just left the scrimmage between UWM and the Brewers Sunday squad....here are some more thoughts on the whole Maryvale thing. As baseball fans and more importantly Brewers fans,we all love Maryvale because it's "accessible" and never sells out which means you can sit almost anywhere,however....from Mark Attanasios standpoint as a business man it is not entirely about the fan experience. While important,at the end of the day he is in this business to make money. Ultimately if that means moving the ST facility to a more desirable location that will generate larger crowds (read $$$) then that is what will happen. The average blonde haired blue eyed visitor from northern Wisconsin doesn't want to travel through the barrio to watch a spring training game. On a side note,there were 9 Phoenix PD officers working the game today (pretty much baseline for Maryvale)

    Simply put...there's a reason there are never night contests at Maryvale....

    Lifetime ban should be in order. Peter Rose gets banned for gambling and this clown gets 30 days for unlawfully discharging a firearm....seems legit

    Maryvale is straight up hood. If you are just going to the game and leaving immediately afterwards you are generally ok. The hospital that's a mile or so from the ballpark routinely gets gangbanger gunshot victims dumped off at the ER doors. It's not known as "Murdervale" or "Scaryvale" by locals for no reason.

    Im so glad Menomonie changed their names to the Mustangs...one of the chants when I was in HS was "We are the Indians,the mighty mighty Indians". Im sure these days someone would be offended by the chant saying that Indians are a superior strength to other heritages.

    Originally from Wisconsin but moved to New Mexico for a job last year and now I am in Iowa. Already miss the weather and golfing in January. Yeah,it wasn't a planned return. Family issues unfortunately

    Honestly the best time to get signatures from professional athletes is BEFORE the games start,during the team workouts. Obviously this isn't ideal for everyone but if you are an autograph fanatic,February is your time. As for food,what is your preferred cuisine?

    Its sad that in 2015 this is still even a topic. People are going to have their beliefs either way and that is what makes America great, being entitled to those beliefs. I nearly lost a great friend years ago who said he was terribly afraid of coming out to me that he was gay. We still joke about it to this day, but he has lost friends over it and even gone through bits of depression over how hes been treated. Personally, I dont care if he likes the pole and not the hole...I care about if he can hit a 90mph curveball.

    They have been constantly waving and just being a smidge immature....and no, not just kids. I hate that little area they have behind home plate. Them being at field level is what makes it annoying. They are right in the background of the batter/catcher/umpire. Ive sat in that "suite" before...I absolutely hate it. Besides the issues you mentioned, you actually sit a bit below field level thus making actually watching the game kind of hard to do. They have TV monitors down there you can watch the game on

    caught most of the game on my flight back to Phoenix. Jimmy had a pretty decent outing tonight.

    I was afraid the team would get on a little hot streak like this. I really really hope this doesnt lead MA and DM to think they are going to "get back in it". They still need to sell at the deadline, so we arent sitting here at the end of the season going "ho hum, well at least we had that winning streak in July".
