I would say the Brewers may need to outscore the Nationals to win this one. Sounds crazy to say but just may prove true.

I’m talking “it’s over” proclamations. Plenty of them were seen here. We all had plenty of doubts and rightfully so. But those that literally said “it’s over” or “it’s done” should re examine their judgment (and maybe post frequency). Clearly it wasn’t over. And you couldn’t have known for certain that it was, and that’s what all the other posters here were telling you.

Proclamations that the season was completely over have not aged well. And still plenty of games to go. Never give up in baseball when you still have math on your side.

Huira was able to run yesterday. Could be soon. Plus Woodruff had a bullpen session.

Great team win last night. Let’s get another one today please. Biggest game of the season thus far. And biggest start of Houser’s career to this point. Let’s go!!!!!

I thought Cain looked hurt two months ago, I think I mentioned it in a game thread. I’m sure Cain played through it and didn’t say anything for awhile.

Chacin was too good last year to hook him this quickly. Only if he looks bad for several starts would they consider him before others.

Could be he has to start his swing sooner due to potential injury? Not saying for sure just spec.

I’m hoping that Cain is only slumping and not playing through an injury. I know he’s taken some self inflicted shots the last few weeks but he might be overcompensating for something else small muscle wise.
