  1. 1B- Wilkens/Burke 2B- Made 3B- Fischer SS- Pratt OF- Chourio, Pena, Lara, Williams
  2. I know we have a ways to go this spring but the Sounds potentially have a ton of talent. There are more players than open positions. Zamora, Leonard, McGee and Rodriguez could all be traded with Wichrowski, Hunt, Kuehner, Manfredi, Fitzpatrick, Fisher, Made, Leston and Hardin waiting for their 2026 AAA opportunity. Williams LF/3B/SS/CF Lockridge CF Adams 1B/3B/DH Black LF/1B/DH Baddoo RF Quero C Wilken 3B/DH Pratt SS Murray 2B Bench: Zamora, Berroa, McGuire, Leonard SP Harrison Sproat Gasser Drohan Crow Rodriguez Pen Kuehner, Yoho, McGee, Peralta, Holub, Bukaukas, McGee
  3. Turang 2B Chourio LF Contreras C Yelich DH Vaughn 1B Frelick RF Rengifo 3B Mitchell CF Ortiz SS
  4. Joey Ortiz hits .250 with 12 HR's and plays awesome defense.
  5. I am probably way off on some salaries. I looked at WAR and what players around them signed for. 1. Lucas Giolitto- Probably can't afford him. Two years, 20 million with incentive for innings pitched? 2.. Griffin Canning- There is some upside. 1 Year, 2 million (similar to Blackburn) with incentives for games started. 3. Walker Buehler- Greatest risk/reward 1 Year, 2 million with incentives for innings pitched. 4. Justin Verlander- Probably can't afford him 1 year, 12 million 5. Jose Quintana- Does he want to come back? 1 year, 6 million with incentives for games started. 6. Tyler Anderson- Is he washed up? 1 year, 5 million if he makes the roster.
  6. Take Freddy's five innings every five or six days and reevaluate at the deadline. If you are near the top of the division just take the comp pick. Freddy- Reliable Woodruff- Health is a question Priester- Reliable Misorowski- Somewhat unreliable Ashby- Question mark Henderson- Health is a question Gasser- Health is a question Patrick- #5 starter Meyers- #5 starter Zerpa- This years Priester? Hall- Questionable for the rotation Rodriguez- Huge question mark There are some intriguing arms! In Pat we trust.
  7. Realistically........ 1. Peralta 2. Misorowski (Could be a #1?) 3. Preister (solid #3) 4. Woodruff (#1 if healthy, limited innings?) 5. Ashby (more useful as a bullpen piece?) 6. Patrick 7. Henderson (healthy?) 8. Montgomery Gasser (healthy?) Meyers I'd rather see Patrick, Gasser and Meyers. Montgomery would have to be one year and an incentive loaded contract.
  8. C: William Contreras ($11.10M) 1B: Andrew Vaughn ($7.80M) 2B: Brice Turang ($4.40M) 3B: Caleb Durbin ($0.80M) SS: Joey Ortiz ($0.80M) LF: Isaac Collins ($0.80M) CF: Jackson Chourio ($7.25M) RF: Sal Frelick ($0.80M) DH: Christian Yelich ($26.00M) OF: Blake Perkins ($0.80M) Utility: Andruw Monasterio ($0.80M) OF: Garrett Mitchell ($1.00M) 1B/OF: Jake Bauers ($2.00M) SP1: Freddy Peralta ($8.00M) SP2: Quinn Priester ($0.80M) SP3: Jacob Misiorowski ($0.80M) SP4: Logan Henderson ($0.80M) SP5: Chad Patrick ($0.80M) RP: Trevor Megill ($4.20M) RP: Abner Uribe ($0.80M) RP: Grant Anderson ($0.80M) RP: Jared Koenig ($0.80M) RP: Nick Mears ($1.60M) RP: Aaron Ashby ($5.70M) RP: Robert Gasser ($0.80M) RP: Tobias Myers ($0.80M) Payroll is 20.83% under budget
  9. Game 1- Priester Game 2- Peralta Game 3- Koenig followed by Mis Game 4- Quintana
  10. If MLB wants to even the playing field, overseas players should have to enter MLB through the draft instead of through the wealthy team bidding war.
  11. How does Milwaukee line up against the Dodgers? C- Contreras > Smith 1B- Freeman > Vaughn 2B- Turang > Edman 3B- Durbin = Hernandez SS-:Betts > Ortiz LF- Chourio > Call CF- Pages > Perkins RF- Hernandez > Frelick DH- Ohtani > Yelich Yelich to LF, Chourio to CF, DH Hoskins or Bauer's? That would give LF and CF to Milwaukee. SP- Yamamoto, Ohtani, Snell, Glasnow > Peralta, Priester, Misorowski, Quintana Hopefully Quintana can make a quality start when called on. Pen- Ashby, Megill, Koenig, Uribe, Patrick, Mears > Kershaw, Vesia, Trenien, Sasaki, Sheehan< Wrobleski This might be where the Brewers have the biggest advantage. Murphy > Roberts Hands down, Murphy is a better manager and decision maker. Hopefully that is the difference maker. Dodgers 6, Brewers 5
