Molitor, Yount, Yelich, Uecker...... Chourio will be on the list someday.

There are a lot of off season choices. It's tough to think about 2027 with playoff baseball starting...... Milwaukee Brewers (16) Andrew Vaughn (5.142): $8.5MM Not back for 8.5 MM William Contreras (5.112): $14.6MM (Brewers hold $14.5MM club option) Pay the man for one more year Bryse Wilson (5.049): $1.1MM He gone Trevor Megill (5.002): $8MM Traded Angel Zerpa (4.082): $1.3MM Brought back Garrett Mitchell (4.040): $2.7MM Pay the man for one more year Brice Turang (3.165): $9.5MM Pay the man for one more year Akil Baddoo (3.082): $1.3MM He gone DL Hall (3.074): $1MM Pay the man Sal Frelick (3.072): $2.4MM Pay the man Joey Ortiz (3.030): $2.4MM Pay the man Bo Naylor (3.014): $1.5MM Contreras' back up in 2027 David Hamilton (3.011): $1.6MM Pay the man for one more year Grant Anderson (3.007): $1MM He gone Jared Koenig (2.158): $900K He gone Quinn Priester (2.134): $1.3MM Pay the man for one more year

If the game is close after five I really like the Brewers chances versus the Cubs Sanzatela, Romero, Uribe, Hall/Ashby, Megill I expect Hall/Ashby and Patrick to start game three of a series with the hope they go five combined.

Get ready for a boring off season..... Uribe added Romero replaces Drohan to reduce innings. Drohan shuttles with Gasser, Kuhnel, Crow and Sproat Naylor added. I'd like to see Adams but if he plays on 2026 he won't be eligible during the 2027 strike.

Contreras Contract Two years, 20 million.with up to 5 million in performance incentives (All Star, MVP, 130 games caught, Silver Slugger, Golden Glove, play offs). Take it or accept 10.5 million in arbitration.

With an impending lock out the Brewers do not want to add to the 40 man roster in 2026 so players can stay eligible play in 2027. The 2027 minor league season will help construct the 2028 roster. Nashville will be an exciting baseball city next summer. The closer we get to the deadline the more I think the Brewers should back off to second tier players and cross their fingers on a six man rotation staying healthy. A healthy Harrison could be your trade deadline addition....... Not Mason Miller...... Adrian Morejon- Ashby seems trashed. Too many innings and high leverage situations. Would slot in late innings with Uribe and Megill. Giving Up: Braelyn Payne Not Tarik Skubal....... Dustin May- Pitching for a contract and big game stuff. Would the Cardinals trade him in the division? Giving Up: Bishop Leston and Dylan O'Rae Rotation Miz, Henderson, May, Gasser, Drohan, Harrison
