itunes help!!

Ok, so today I finally got an ipod! Problem is, after I downloaded itunes..an error screen comes up. It says iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close... I have no idea what the heck I can do..

First off, try updating iTunes to the newest version (if you haven't already).

Shouldn't the download already be the most current version of iTunes?

Ahhh, true...I read the post way too fast...

My advice would be to uninstall it, reboot, and re-install it. Something might have been funky with the install.

Tried all things I could think of... I even tried downloading old versions....same problem every time...

Have another computer? Try it on that.
