The only problem I had was bringing Stetter in for the first time in a game we are ahead. He was clearly nervous until the lefties came up.

 

I was upset when Brian said that Stetter had been stretched out and can now face right handed hitting.

 

Just let him be the LOOGY until he gets his feet wet.

I know what JB12 is getting at -- putting that shift on was effectively giving Jr. an IBB. I think if Yost would have given Jr. an IBB in that situation it would have been dumb.

I have never felt so blah and sad after a win. But when you see one of the best pitchers in baseball leave the game after 5 shutout innings because of another injury it can almost make a grown man cry.
