AOL-Speak

One of our mods had a bit of a "run in" with a user regarding "AOL speak". Words like "u" and "ur" have sort of become a part of communication on the internet, but honestly, when I'm reading someone's post, I find it hard to read and to take seriously when someone doesn't take the time to spell out words. Now, I'm not going to say that we're going to start banning people for the occasional "lol" or anything, but please, be reasonable and take pride in your posts.
